Attended the show this morning. Was only looking for a variant Blue Emmitt, but didn't see any. Also wanted the Bonds Mays 2 pack, but figured to find it cheaper online than in the Bay.

I was pretty fired up to see all the new Episode III figs, but decided to wait and purchase them on the April 2 release date for regular price. Instead of having to pay extra, just to have em 2 weeks earlier.

That is sort of true. it will be the only way to get the 4 figs now, but these 4 figs will be coming out in the future. It wont be for a long time, but they will be regular releases.

Screw the midnight crap. Actually what I'm gonna do is buy whatever I'm gonna buy. Then on the 10th I will grab a yoda or 2, show them my reciept and if they won't give me a free Yoda, I will return all my stuff and then buy it again to get the yoda. Or have my wife with me to do the rebuying.

here is my midnight madness story.heres a post from the blossom hill tru i was number 9 or 10 in line. for those of you who were there. it was a good time nice freindly people met a few board members there. before the doors opened we had a few people cut in line and when management were told they did nothing. they had the holo yodas for the 1st 10 people to check out and he was 10.81 not free. i picked up a 12inch greavous and a unleashed of the general. ohhhhhh and they let all proble 80 to 90 people in at once. and that made it hard to look for figs.all in all the standing in line was really cool but tru employes tonight sucked they had no game plan im glad im picking up the regs at target tommorow.

Got to TRU at around 7pm in San Mateo. Was second in line. They had 8 yodas. They let the first 8 in first and as soon as we got the yodas, they let the whole crowd in. Then went straight to target and camped out there all night with about 6 of the people I met in line at Tru. Actually had a pretty good time.

Hit the east bay this am....

Went to the nicer of the 2 Targets on Hesperian this am....2nd there but no lines were enforced so all these grown men ( like 15 of them) took off running thru the store as soon as they opened the doors....I was 2nd there but decided to kick back in my truck with my 4 kids, just didnt want to deal with the mob. went and picked up some new shoes for my daughter then headed over to the toys, apparently there was only one case of exclusives and they were all gone by the time I got there. a couple of dudes had carts full of single figs, 12", and unleashed. I guess they werent enforcing limits either.one of my kids managed to pick up 3 of his favorite single figs. that guy with the 4 light sabers is pretty cool! :)

Headed to Walmart at Davis, way better selection of vehicles but all the same figs as far as I could tell...anyone know if there was anything special going as far as exclusives at walmart?

Got to Emeryville TRU at about 0920 and waited in line until 10 when they opened. We were about 8th in line. A couple of line jumpers got in at the last minute but cheaters never prosper...we got inside and they had a huge ROTS display right out front, my kids joined the melee while I approached the manager who was watching the proceedings. I asked him where they had the Yoda exclusives and he pointed me to a lady carrying a single case of them toward the service counter, right before I talked to her, she let one of the employees pull a couple out of the case for himself. Hmmmm! Anyhow, I called over a couple of folks who had been in line ahead of me and pointed them to the service counter where we all got 1 per customer....After I got mine, one of my boys went and got another one for me from the service counter. meanwhile the mob was still rummaging thru the display, so I tipped-off a few more folks that were ahead of me in line and directed them to the service counter...those linejumpers got nada! Glad it worked out this way! :)

Now I just have to find someone to trade one of my Yodas for one of the Vaders....

OK as far as target went, mine did it the right way, almost to a fault. They handed out numbered tickets. you exchanged the ticket for the vader. They did not allow running to the section. About
20 min after the crowd was dead, they still had a box of vaders. I asked if they would sell me a second, and they told me no, to try another store. I went to another one and they sold out. Came back and told them the other store treated me like crap and since I had left and been gone for a while, would they sell me one now? They wouldn't. Then I sent my wife there and they cheated her with the last one.

Check ebay too. I got my catfish on ebay for $5 and my Mays from the same person for $7, so I also saved on shipping. Neither player means much to most people outside our area. In many places around the country they couldn't give the Bonds Mays box set away. I don't know if it's still that way, but I do know that it was.

Very nice. I know that as of 2 weeks ago or so, they had 8 Bonds/Mays boxes at one of the TRU's near Baltimore. If that's any indication, you will probably be able to bring (ship) alot back home.

The quality is not that bad. The paint job could be better. There are random black marks (small ones) on both Mays and Bonds. The Bonds figure has a white blob of paint down the left leg. It just be mine though.

The sculpting, and likeness are dead on. Great job by TMP. The only detail that is missing are the writing on Barrys bat (name, manufacture of bat, etc.). It's still a great 2 pack to have :D

Hey all, just got back from a show at a school here in Maryland...pretty nice...just 3 guys with an a good selection of SPs...Picked up a Mannings 2pack $25 and a Barry 700th Boxed Fig...its nice and was only $20...Thought it was a good price for a 1 out of 12000 fig...ehem, not one DS CCX to be seen....Dude had tons of grey Mayes single packs but wanted $15 each....Hit local stores too, many A's Hunters and Giants 2packs warming the shelves...

NBA Legends have hit a few local Gamestops as of yesterday. All chases long gone and only 2 regs left at Oakridge Mall this afternoon. Saw 10 regs hanging across the street yesterday. Kids Dream in south San Jose got 4 cases yesterday and 2 more cases coming tomorrow. Chris pulled each of the 6 variants from his 4 cases. None are for sale. He has lots of regs for sale and sets of regs available. Case assortments are: 3 each of Bird and Dr. J; 2 Wilts, 1 chase, 1 Pistol Pete (my favorite piece), 1 Reed and 1 Walton. The figs all look great. Not all Gamestops got them. Will have to wait for TRU or hit ebay to get any chases it seems. Happy hunting!

i just got off the phone with 3 gamestops trying to see when mlb12 will be relesed and got the same stroy they were relesed 3 days ago and they were preorder only. so they werent gonna order a case unless you preordered a case and that with each series different sores would be receiveing them. i this from all 3 stores anyone else hear of this.

Danica Patrick, Buddy Rice Ready to Motor Around Ghirardelli Square

The IRL IndyCar Series® will take over historic Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco on Wednesday, Aug. 24, with the first Chocolate Mini-Grand Prix.

Star drivers Danica Patrick and Buddy Rice will pilot their Argent Mortgage/Pioneer open-wheel cars in a low-speed grand prix, which will circle the four square blocks around Ghirardelli Square. The two drivers will be joined by Menards Infiniti Pro Series™ driver Travis Gregg (Sam Schmidt Motorsports) in the three-car caravan that will do three or four laps. The drive will take place at 11:30 a.m.

These will be the same machines you will see on the track later in the week at the Argent Mortgage Indy Grand Prix at Infineon Raceway (Aug. 26-28). Come by and check out these amazing cars up-close, and also take part in a driver autograph session that will take place in the courtyard at Ghirardelli Square later that day.

They just use general #s to categorize all their SP's. There's no specific # for each series. The MLB 13 # is the same for MLB 12. That's why the Schilling & Pujols 2-Packs were coming up $4.99 a while back because they didn't reset the clearance price from those old Jeter/Garciaparra 2-packs back to regular price. There's a 2-Pack DCPI # too if you need that I can get that to you. I don't have it on me. Target doesn't know what series is coming. The cases just fall into those two DCPI #'s for MLB, NHL, NBA, & NFL, and they put them out. Hope that helps.
