Scored 4 NFL Legends variants yesterday at local Gamestops. One each of Aikman, Barry and Elway, with an extra blue Aikman for good measure. Tis an awesome set. Unitas is the short pack, as LT and Franco showed up once with 2 per case. Opened a reg. Aikman for a custom base, and his pose is dead on. Got a regular Barry from Kids Dream for an opener as well. Chris at Kids Dream got 3 each of Elway, Sanders and Aikman variants in his 6 cases.

The Oakridge show a few weeks ago was probably better for SPs than Tri-Star. So you in fact attended it andif so how many dealers did they get. The Milpitas one is put on by the same one who did Oakridge? :confused:

Can never figure why promotors put on card shows and dont bother to spend the money to attract customers which will lead to more dealers table fees. Tri-Star does not even bother to advertise In San Jose Mercury go figure that out with large population and collector base as well. Proably dont want to shell out the bucks although they would get it back with their high $10 a person admission fee :eek:

Went to the Great Mall today. Only the "Weaties" guy (always has a few) and Warren (big display with the Deions mentioned above) had any SPs. I wouldn't drive far to go to this one Alex. Wait for Serramonte in 3 weeks guys. I'll be there selling with Chris of Kids Dream both days. Last Spring this was the best mall show I've seen in a while. Action figs sell really well up by SF. Still looking for NFL Legends at TRU...no big shipments yet.

Yeah, I noticed it after i put the finishing coat on. I just didnt feel like redoing them since it's a pain trying to make the thin orange line with the black line in the middle.

I am only taking pre-orders from my customers who buy other sports lines, not just NFL. Because as you know its rare to get a full order of NFL, so those customers pay less than $100 per case, but you've got to start with all of the other lines first.

Guys: I'll be at Serramonte selling both days w/ Kids Dream Toys & Gifts. I'll have about 50-60 opened pieces on custom bases, inlcuding some old Starting Lineups and all NFL Legends. Will also bring a reg. Nabokov, Blue Aikman, reg Cowboys NFL 1 Emmit Smith, autographed opened Rob Blake and other relevant stuff. Had fun selling some stuff and trading with Anthony (Capitol Sports) and meeting a few new guys (Gary w/ the Spawn hat; he hasn't posted yet, but I encouraged him to join us...). Alex, I must have been getting a snack when you came by...heard from Anthony that you were there on Saturday. Sorry I missed you man. Anyone else who saw the white shelves with the opened custom bases...that was me. Best pickups were a Yanks Catfish and an Elam from Anthony, along with SB Carr. With the sheer volume of SP dealers in the house, this show was the closest thing to a convention that we're going to see. Seemed like a good number of knowledgeable collectors were about, along with the novices. Anthony was in the catbird seat as only dealer with major amounts of NFL 11. Still waiting to see that first Alex Smith...

Hit TRU in Santa Cruz today. Was surprised to see the remnants of probably 4 cases (34 figs left out). 3 each of Roaf, McGahee and Tiki. 0 Moss or Horn...and obviously no chase. 1 case put out at Blossom Hill TRU...only a few Bens and Bradys left. Kids Dream got 10 cases...one had a white Horn. All of his cases had at least 1 Horn. Also saw 2 Bettis 12 inch and 1 Brady 12 at Santa Cruz. I only picked up a Roaf.
