Ok, now that I've succumbed to the discounted NFL 3" two-packs I seem to feel a need to be a completist. From the 2005 third series singles I've only seen and purchased Roy Williams and Ray Lewis. Does anyone know some place on the North side of town that still carries some? Or does anyone have any extras they'd be willing to part with for cost?

On a side note, being an Aggie, I've been following this 12th Man flap between the university and the Seahawks. I'm amazed at some of the postings in the thread on this subject. Most of the A&M bashing is coming from Canadians. I honestly think that if Seattle was not in the Super Bowl that most of the haters wouldn't even know Seattle's record much less what state the city is in. The 12th Man is and has been Trademarked for a looooong time. Even the Bills and Bears recongnized this years ago when they tried to use it and complied with the cease and desist orders then.

My wife's friend's fiance is a huge SLU/SP fan but he lacks his personal grail, if you will. Well, it's a '88 Warren Moon SLU. Does anyone know if Wal-Mart has the correct pricing for SP's in their system? The last ones I bought there (a couple of MLB chases in the summertime) were $5 each when they rung up. I have a bunch of SP's that I can't trade or sell and am sick of them taking up space.

I'm starting to think that the Ryan Astros is packaged pretty heavy. That doesn't seem to make sense since it is the variant, but I have a feeling that the mantle and robinson are way limited and the Ryan may be easy to get a hold of. Promised my boy I'd take him to TRU for doing well onhis presentation yesterday. He got his Power Rangers and of course I got something for me. Flipped through the SP's again and found another Astros Ryan in the very back of the line!
Decided to check the Marvel Legends for kicks and a white Sasquatch righ in front with a purple X-23 behind him...nice! On the way out, stopped to look at some other stuff and found a bald Bishop lying on the shelf. I then proceed to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming...lol! The ML's aren't for me but for a friend that collects that stuff. I was just shocked to find variants on the pegs, especially at this TRU. Last two trips have yielded goods. I guess the toy Gods are finally smiling on me again :D

Nope - the one I got off ebay had a big ding in the side, but I could see that in the picture. My Angels Ryan was museum-like off the TRU peg, though.

Anyone else notice the plastic TMP uses for the packaging seems a little flimsy this year? Packaging for MLB 14 and Coop 3 doesn't seem up to par with past releases. Maybe it's just me.

There was no paint in the grooves on all the Jeter's I saw when they came out. The one I had looked exactly like that one.

Any of you local guys interested in playing in fantasy baseball league? This will be the 2nd year of the league. It is a live draft, conducted at my house in the Woodlands, head to head league, $30 entry fee. The draft is this Saturday at 3:30pm, after once the draft is over we usually play Poker for anyone who wants to play. We had 8 players in the league last year, 2 can not play this year and we have picked up 1 new player. We want at least 1 more to make 8, ideally we want 10 players. Is it worth it to buy all of the Marvel legends figures to build Apocalypse? I think the Marvel Legends figures suck but maybe the Apocalypse is ok.

I think the reason they don't just sell the Apocalypse individually is because the lineup of characters in the Apoc series are lackluster. Go the the 'bay and get one for about $55-60 - it's probably more than buying all the figs and assembling it yourself, but your not stuck with at least half a dozen action figures you never would have wanted to begin with. Just my opinion, though.

It's 23 bucks at Minute Maid Park and they dont keep em in stock and Best Buy doesnt seem to ahve them either. So if you are looking try your local Kroger I bet they have em its where I found mine. Great DVD looking abck at last season.

I saw the DVD at Best Buy yesterday...think it was $16...Hastings also had the DVD as well...might have been $14, not sure...thanks for the Kroger info!
