I say no...he was close - a co-MVP, a Super Bowl appearance, long career (kind of sounds like Boomer Esiason).

He didn't quite do enough statistically, and I don't think he was ever regarded as an elite QB for a long enough stretch of time.

NFL Legends 5 has hit town. Found a case at TRU Woodlands today. Not 100% sure but I either counted 7 or 8 on the pegs. No chase, no Montana.
ALL of them looked better than ever in regard to paint apps. The cardboard back is going to hold up better too because of the larger plastic casing. Less to bend at the top.
I hope the rest of the football figs this year look this good.

HA! I almost did that exact thing when I went to TRU in the Woodlands yesterday with my son to get him some Super Hero Squad figures.

That Randall Cunningham figure looked amazing, and Steve Young and Bart Starr were really tempting as well. It was the first time I've shown self-restraint in a long time.

Saw some of the new NFL Legends today at WM in Spring. Someone bought the chase but left the other 7 figs. 2 Youngs, 1 Marino, 1 Starr, 1 Manning, 1 Cunningham and 1 KC Montana. I was really tempted to buy a couple but passed. McFarlane really came through with the quality on these figs.

I went into the Westheimer TRU last weekend. The only new SPs I saw were the Mannys. They have a ton of Brett Favres for some odd reason. I don't imagine they've put out any Legends yet.

Baybrook TRU had some NCAA figs this morning. Brady, Russell, and 2 Mannings.
Checked Baytown TRU yesterday but no a single NFL fig anywhere. They had 2 pegs for Legends 2009 but it was all hockey and some baseball.

Willowbrook TRU had absolutely nothing. No NCAA and no legends. They don't have the room to put out any new figs unless they can get rid of some of the stuff they have. The biggest problem is the Upper Deck Vinyls. They are everywhere on both sides of the aisles. Only the Tiger Woods and Ali figures seem to be selling.

Luck is right. In my case bad luck. I'm working from home today and had my pick of either driving to Fairmont or Humble TRU just to see if anything new came in. I picked Humble and of course they had ZERO NCAA figs on the shelf when they had 6 or 7 3 days ago.
Let me know if you find any more Lewis of Russell chase figs after you complete your set. I understand if you may need to use extras for trade to get AP.
If I see another Ward chase it may just sit. I'm up to 5 found, 4 bought, 3 traded.

Woodlands TRU had all regs yesterday...about 8 Mannings, 4 Bradys, 2 Petersons and 1 Russell. I didn't see any Ward or Lewis.

On the down side, I didn't see any Legends there. I know that's kind of yesterday's news, but I was half-heartedly hoping to get them on clearance even though I said I had no more room. Remember how many Howie Longs and Jack Lamberts were sitting on the pegs for months?

I was at TRU on Westheimer today, the only NCAA they had was several Brady's and Manning's. They also had some NFL and NBA Legends (no Olajuwon :( ), as well as some stuff that must have been stashed in the back (a bunch of Reggie Bush 2 figs, a Tra Thomas and a Cowboys teams set). If anyone is looking for a Ben R.-Santonio Holmes 2 pack they had 3-4 of those as well.

The only thing, the visor fell off and it's floating around the bottom.

NFL 20 is out guys! I found two cases of it last night at the Hollister SWM. One of the cases wasn't open so I asked the stocker to open it for me. I got a Rivers and red Manning out of that one a Fitrz and Turner from the other. The case on the pegs had 7 figures hanging so I'm assuming the chase was picked already.

Same assortment in both cases except for the Turner and Rivers. One case had a Turner no Rivers. The other a Rivers and no Turner.

Question: Which reg figure do you all think will be the most sought after from this series, Turner, Fitz or Rivers? I'm thinking it's a toss up between the Rivers and Turner...

I figured it had less chance of being found there by Treasure Hunters since they are afterall female repellants.

I was out late night on a run for some baby powder and just happen to walk by an entire case that had not been rummaged through. Its always nice to find chase figures in store, even when not buying, dang SPs tried to pull me back in.

Anyhow, should it happen again, I'll hide it in the bra area again and leave a more detail of what fixture, all I can remember is that they were brown bras and I put it at the back of the center peg on the top row.

When the board overhaul happened however many years ago I had a different board name that was wiped because I had less than 10 posts. I tried to make that my screen name after the overhaul but could never do it myself. I sent several emails to the mods over a period of time and nothing ever happened until now. The reason for the change is that I transitioned into a special investigative dept at work and I needed to not be easily Googled. Google search and first hit was Spawn message board.
