I'm thinking of ordering a case of NFL 12, something tells me that there are going to be some nice variants in this series. Especially, the Brees/Tomlinson in powder Blues.

Remember folks, I am looking for multiple Willie Roaf figs out of NFL 11, I will also be looking for a Brees/Tomlinson out of NFL 12, to repaint into Joe Montana and Marcus Allen (Chiefs versions :) ), possibly seeing Dillion as Tony Richardson going over the top...? And maybe a Brett Favre fig... NH figs are always in demand...

went to a few stores today...i did see mlb 12 at target on 70 in garner...12 figs, no chases, and no mussina or glavine...i bet they got in two cases and that is what was left...there were 3 ortiz...they also had 12 in ripkens...tru in cary still has two lebron/mcgrady two packs if anyone wants them...i cannot wait for those new football sp's to come out...

I've never heard of that before. Unfortunately, the entire season is sold out already. The X-mas eve game against Dallas was one of the games that sold out in 15 minutes. Your best bet now is eBay or a ticket broker.

The first team offense looked GREAT!! They marched straight down the field and scroed on a TD pass from Delhomme to Gardner. It's starting to look like Gardner was a great pickup. Steve Smith looked real good also. He's definetly back to 100%. On the flip side, Patrick Ramsey looked terrible. They couldn't move the ball at all until Brunell came in.

I've gone to things like this before, and people line up HOURS before the doors even open, just so they can have a better chance at scoring everyone. Be prepared to wait a LONG TIME.

Also, don't be surprised if some people they say are going to be there for autos, don't show up on time, or at all. I had a bad experience with Stackhouse, Wallace, and Vince Carter a few years back, where they were advertised to be signing autographs, and finally strolled in about 20 minutes before the end of the session.

Scored the last Dawkins/Vick 2pk a little while ago at Target in Wake Forest. It would be safe to say they probably all have them now. Also, NFL single 3" figs are out at Target. Oh, I agree. Those are good TE's to have if you can get them. Most Fantasy drafts people pick TE's way too early like 5 or 6th round. I got Watson in the 12th round when I already had my lineup stacked. I go with the running game over passing every year.

Man I am just thrilled watching his development. The announcers from their preseason game against NY said when it's all said and done Julius will have revolutionized the DE position. I think they're right. He can rush the QB, play the run, and drop back in coverage. I am thoruoghly enjoying his career. It's nice to have such an awesome player on my favorite team.

On a sad note! Colin Branch will miss the entire season. He tore his ACL and MCL Saturday night in the game against the Giants. Hopefully they'll put Thomas Davis back at Safety to replace Branch. Then they can let Chris Draft or Brandon SHort fill in at Linebacker when they are healthy.

JP, I posted a couple days ago, I think Friday about these items. I found a Vick/Dawkins 2pk in Wake Forest and picked it up. I also snagged all 3 Bettis 3" figs they had. There was a gang of NFL 3" on the pegs. At least 2 of each player except Sapp. There was only 1 of him.

Going to have to disagree. KC has upgraded their D tremendously this year. With atleast 2 new starters at LB, you will see a lot of new looks, with blitz packages, and KC will want to start this process early in the season, shutting down one of the leagues best RB's. C-Mart will be limited to 50 yards is my prediction, with Blaylock carrying for 30 or so. I'm sure NYJ will still get close to 100 rushing yards, but not C-Mart..

Start Ahman week 1 :)

I know it is pre-season and all, but Ben is going to need a couple more of guys that are 6'7" or taller to catch some of those passes he was tossing tonight. Panthers looked average ... tons of terrible calls by the zebras tonight. I think that whole crew will get cut!!!! :)

Quick update on the team, our JVs won 20-0 Thurs night, last night our varsity won 53-26. Westover's qb attempted 63 passes and completed 33, which ties the NC record for most attempts in a game, of course this was against our 3rd and 4th strings.

I like Wille Parker alot and Verron Haynes but, seriously are either of those quality backs? Big Ben can't find a receiver. We'll see what happens when the season starts. :(

"rut-roh" was everyone right in saying Pittsburgh was a fluke??? It's starting to sound like it. Being an AFC guy, and moreso a KC fan, I was hoping for a AFC Championship game between Pitts and KC. Just to see KC win of course, but they way it sounds, that might not happen...
