Metrolina Expo is just north of downtown Charlotte. On I-77 take exit 16-A (heading east on Sunset Rd.) First major intersection you come to (2nd stoplight, I think) will be Statesville Rd. Turn left on Statesville Rd. and the Expo will be +/- 1 mile on the right. Or, if you miss the left turn, keep going straight ( Sunset turns into Old Statesville Rd.) and the Expo will be on your left. If you end up on Old Statesville Rd., you may have to make a u-turn to get into the Expo. I can't remember if you can turn left or if there is a median. Either way, there is an obvious sign at both entrances.

They are having 2 a days one in the morning one in the evening plus they are staying across the street at the Washington Duke Inn, will be going back today to see if I can get more autos. Kind of an average weekend of football for me-our JVs lost 12-0 with the game being stopped at the half because of rain. Our varsity won 55-2. Today Appalachian and UNC both lost. But, one of my other teams just won a nice one, that being Penn State. I went looking for Roaf again today and saw some Barry Sanders and a few Elways no NFL 11. Go Panthers Tommorrow!!!!!!!!

Have you guys ever went to training camp in SC. Thats the best way to get Panthers autographs. I go every year and always get everyone and best of all it is free. However, Peppers is pretty tough to get but he does sign some times.


Also, plenty of NASCAR signings taking place in the area this week. I'm thinking about going to get B Labonte at the Nascar Cafe in Greensboro on Wed night.

Have you guys ever went to training camp in SC. Thats the best way to get Panthers autographs. I go every year and always get everyone and best of all it is free. However, Peppers is pretty tough to get but he does sign some times.


Also, plenty of NASCAR signings taking place in the area this week. I'm thinking about going to get B Labonte at the Nascar Cafe in Greensboro on Wed night. Kiapooh, do you know of any other Nascar signings this week? Here's the ones I know about,

A quick football update. We lost 22-18 Thurs night, it's hard to win with 16 turnovers the last 10 quarters of football. Friday night we won our homecoming 34-19 with our rb rushing for 200 or so yards and 4 tds. Yesterday, I got to watch my alma matter, Appalachian St beat Georgia Southern on tv. Than the Notre Dame game, which was a heart breaker for me. Today it's the cat fight, so GO PANTHERS!!!

You have to give the lions d credit. the big 400 pounders in the middle were shutting us down all day, which is why i was screaming at the t.v. when we decided to go for it on fourth down. i had a feeling we would try the obvious delhomme sneak, and had a feeling we would fail. glad we squeeked it out. our d stepped up, but man did harrington look weak. i don't care what people say, i think jake misses mushin. since jake has been our qb, he loves to simply loft passes up for the boys to go get. steve smith is unreal and is definitely athletic enough to go them, but we are missing that second guy. colbert stepped up early, and ricky stepped up late, but gardner needs to step up, as well. we need a big guy to go grab jakes crazy throws. overall, it was nice to get another road win...it does not matter how you do it...bring on the cruise boat vikings

Yes I did make the signing. Unfortunately, the car I had him signed smeared and is ruined, but the SP figure looks good. You and me both. I've only heard of one Peppers signing ever. It was at a Pizza joint 2 years ago. I was going to go to it. But my wife's Grandfather died a few days before. Obviously his funeral took priority over Julius Peppers. His autograph is very hard to get. He doesn't sign much.

Julius Peppers signed at a CSA show at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. I think the show was in the spring. I went to get some baseball old timers such Buck O'Neill and Monte Irvin. I saw him in the parking lot and got a neat photo of him talking with some kids.

Has anyone heard of the Sean May signing on Oct 30th in Cary? It's posted on signinghotline.com. It states the signing will be held at LB Sports from 4pm-5. I'm just wondering if you would have to pay for this auto.

Well, I survived Hurricane Wilma. I left here Thursday and drove all night to Miami to watch KC play the Dolphins. What a game!!! Well worth the 12 hour trip. Not wanting to risk the chance of the storm, I double backed Saturday.

Miami has a really nice stadium, great seats, only complaint is, their fans! Those people are not true fans. I think Miami could move to LA, and they wouldn't know the diffrence...

I lived in Miami for 3 years (2000-2002). When they are winning the fans love them. When they lose the fans turn their backs on the them.

can any of you charlotte guys tell me how to get to the show this weekend? I am going to salisbury on sat and then charlotte for the weekend and the game, and i am going to stop by the show and pick up some autos of the davis boys. the directions on the website for insidepitch say take the statesville road exit off of i-85. around where would i run into that exit? i am going to be going to charlotte from salisbury on saturday am. any help would be greatly appreciated considering i bought to auto tix already. thanks fella's.
