The scalpers hit the TRU in Winston-Salem pretty hard. It is very difficult to find anything there anymore. You have to be there when the store opens which means you cannot have a job. Yeah I really don't even look at them much anymore there or at KB in the Mall.

Well, the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls playoff run is over, we lost 31-12 last night at Durham Jordan. Now, I move onto coaching the throwers in outdoor track and watching some high school basketball, we have a 6'8" sophmore on our team who put in 37 Thurs night. This also means I will definetly be at the card show on Dec. 3 and probably on NCST's campus on the 10th for the App Vs. St b-ball game and the 4A/4AA championship football games. Well, got to run, heading up to Burlington for the App vs. Elon football game.

I checked out all of the stores in W-S yesterday. TRU still had a bunch of Tom Brady, Jerome Bettis, and Terrell Owens' 12" figures. In fact, I think that TRU still had the same number of Owens that they had about one week ago. Stand by...this looks like a "clearance table" figure. No other figures to mention. Also checked EB Games at Hanes Mall...they had a bunch of NASCAR figures in the floor in the back of the store. They had a bunch of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. in the OREO uniform. While I was in the area, I also checked out Kaybee. They had a bunch of Tom Brady regulars but nothing else. They seldom have anything although I did pick up an Eric Gagne variant about two weeks ago.

Don't know if anybody heard or cares but Josh Hamilton got suspended for all of the 2006 season yesterday. He has now been suspended since July of 2002. Damn, what a waste of potential. Man, I scooped up a bunch of his rookie cards back in 2000 thinking he was going to be the shizznit. Late, er :(

Josh Hamiton...what a true waste of talent. I cannot believe how dumb this guy is. Four years out of baseball is a lifetime and he will never realize his potential. More or less, he is finished. He was one of the most heralded rookies ever and he crashed and burned. I know that he has married now and hopefully he will get his life back on track. He will probably never play baseball again and if he does, he will never be the player that he was thought to be. A true shame.

this friday morning at 5:00 every wal mart will have more for sell... it is a sale we call blitz but they will only have a limited number of them because all wal mart stores only released half of it inventory tonight at launch

Got back from by Black Friday shopping not too long ago. No new SPs, but did get Shrek 2, Napolean Dynamite, Anchorman, X-Men 2 and Goldmember on DVD. Than went out to the Carolina Traders sale at the Kerr-Scott and picked up some college t-shirts for $5. I didn't spend all the money on myself, I also got most of my Christmas shopping done today.

went to the card shop that has switched hands a few times in cary, and bought a box of 2005 leaf certified football. i just needed to waste some money opening up some wax, and got three jersey cards of no value, and a gale sayers auto jersey numbered to 40. it is a pretty sweet card...i dont know if it is worth the 85 i spent on the box, but it sure was fun to pull!!! did not hit any sp places today, b/c they were too crowded...i did gain 32 pounds yesterday...trying for another 20 today!!!

I found out I could order online with the Black Friday stuff so I stayed at home this morning :D I went to bestbuy.com and got,

Then tonight I went to Winston and picked up a few Christmas gifts for the Nephews :D The stores really were not bad at all.

I was watching the WGHP Fox 8 news this morning and they said at 5am this morning KB Toys in Hanes Mall had around a 150 people there :eek: It's kinda of a pain to go in there when it's normal with those tight isles. I can't imagine how it was this morning with all of those people there.

I ventured out again to Raleigh and went into TRU. They had the McGahee, Favre, LT and a few other NFL 12, no signs of Mawae. I also picked up some more $5 DVDs and got the Wrestling Superstars of the 80s 3- DVD set for $11 used at Suncoast.

It has been a big sports weekend for me. I went to the UNC-UCSB game on Friday night at the Dean Dome and then last night I went to Blacksburg to watch the Hokies and UNC game with my son who is a student at Virginia Tech. Lane Stadium has to be one of the best scenes in college football. That place is crazy and loud.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Pro wrestler Ric Flair faces assault charges after a road rage incident on Interstate 485 in Charlotte. Another driver said Flair attacked him and his car.

The driver said he was on I-485 on Wednesday, trying to get out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday and traffic was slow.
The driver said he noticed someone behind him flashing their headlights, so he hit his brakes.

The driver said the car then pulled along side him, police said. The victim said he immediately recognized the driver as Ric Flair.

The driver told police that Flair got out of his car, walked over to the vehicle, grabbed him by the neck and damaged his car.

Police said there are two warrants out for Flair -- simple assault and damage to personal property.

Flair's attorney, Richard Finnell, said Flair is unaware of the warrants. He said Flair is in Michigan this week for a pay-per-view wrestling event.

Finnell said Flair would be back in Charlotte on Tuesday.
