A co-worker of mine played on the O-line at App in the late 80's. I have gathered almost all the pictures of the uniforms that they wore then. I was thinking - do a custom of him out of the Mawae pose (minus the ball)

About 13 hours to kickoff. If anyone wants to see a good football game, tune into ESPN 2 tomm. at 12 for Appalachian vs. Furman for the right to go to Chattanoga for the 1AA Championship. I was going to head out to App vs. NC State in basketball, but heard it was sold out. So, I"m going to head out and watch the 4AA game at 4:30 , Independence (the #4 team in the nation) is playing New Bern. Than, home to watch the Heisman and Code Breakers. GO MOUNTAINEERS and GO PANTHERS!!!

Yes sir, the alma matter looked good today. I wish I could get to Chattanoga for the game, but with school I can't. But, you better believe I will be glued to the tv Friday night. I just got back from the Wal-Mart in Wake Forest and got me the new Dale Jr figure, the one with the side of the car. It looks pretty sweet, can't wait to get it back to Fayetteville, open it and add to the #8 collection. They also had the Gordon, Wallace and Bonnett.

Congrats to the Mountaineers. While I didn't actually attend App State (my alma mater won last year :D ), I did spend my share of weekends in Boone sneaking in and out of dorms. I am very happy for them. They proved that defense really does win championships.

My "former" wife has been wanting to get this custom Gelinas signed since I gave it to her last year and they have their pre-game skate this Friday. How does the open Okafor look? I ordered one on eBay over the weekend and trying to decide if I should open in or not. I open most of my figs, but ever basketball fig I've opened, either leans horribly or will not stand up.

Okay guys....I made a figure run tonight at TRU at Silas Creek Crossing in Winston-Salem. There are new NBA figs everywhere...I did find the Richard Hamilton variant. There are NHL 10's everywhere including Rick Nash. No St. Louis figures. Plenty of Jose Theodore and David Aebischer's available. Also new NFL figures. There were Corey Dillon's everywhere...at least ten to twelve. Also plenty of Terrell Owens' 12" figs.

punks!!!! that is two home games in a row the panthers had a chance to take control of their own destiny...this team has no heart...we have lost the last two home games to teams that wanted it more than we did...the bucs and the boys were playing for their lives, and we did not respond...we don't deserve to go to the playoffs...of course, had friggin cundiff kicked the flippin ball straight, it would have been blocked!!!!! he got rewarded for missing the freaking field goal...how in the name of all things holy, could lucas nor peppers block that field goal...how did jones finally decide to run the 15th game of the year...why were our defensive backs so awful today...i had to pay for 4 playoff tickets for 2 games in order to keep my psl...i should have freakin let the psl go...this team is a bunch of wannabe's with no heart to win big home games...what a huge disappointment...

I disagree. They didn't play their best game, but they should have won. They got hosed by the officials. I've never made that claim in my life. I usually hate the people that say it. But I'll be damned if there wasn't bad calls that led directly to points for Dallas. It's discouraging to see a fan like you turn on them and call them punks.

post game anger, raltherr...i have now calmed down...BUT, 200 yards for jones...lucas and gamble played soft all day on two average receivers...as far as the refs, come on...should smith have been thrown out? did he grab the official? if the path of the ball was changed by peppers or lucas, why was the spin not altered? was there conclusive evidence to overturn it in the booth? THE REFS DID NOT LOSE THAT GAME...we did...it is heart, man...we have had two home games against two good teams with alot on the line, and we did not show up...

by the way, my family has shared season tix since the day the panthers came to charlotte, so i don't quite think i am fair-weathered...i personally have spent money the last 7 years on those season tix...i spent money on a 1-15 year...i think i have earned an opinion, there, friend...and as i guy who has coached high school sports, i never blame the refs for a loss

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I've been playing Madden 06 for PS2 until the game started freezing up on me. I also got an ECU mini helmet (purple with purple facemask), Duke mini helmet and an autographed Rudy Ruettieger mini helmet. Also, a Julius Peppers 8x10 photo, a Stephen Davis poster, Jake Delhomme poster and to decorate my bedroom an assortment of pennants from mostly NC teams. Had a pretty good Christmas and finally get to relax till we go back to school on Jan. 2.
