I had to go to Big Lots in Elkin lastnight with my Parents to pick up a Schwinn bike for my Nephews birthday tomorrow. While there I looked around and found the toy section. They had a bunch of Nomar Garciaparra SP in the Red Sox jersey. They also had some NFL two packs for $10 ea. They were McNabb/Strahan and Portis/Lewis. Also there were one each of O'Neal and Iverson from NBA 8 for $5 ea.

I got Mike Minter on a Panthers mini helmet this week :D My Dad runs a big chain of convenience stores here where we live. Every year around this time the vendors have a big food/awards show in Hillton Head, SC. Minter was there as a guest to talk to all of the people as a motivation speaker. My Dad said he was just so great to meet and talk to.

exanimate...I work in Greensboro. There is a Sheraton near Four Seasons Towne Centre. However...it is expensive. I know that you live in West Virginia so I am assuming that you will be coming to Greensboro on I-40 East. Most all of the places near the airport are nice but expensive. There is a Days Inn on Regional Road which is near the airport which is okay too. It is cheap but functional. There is a Holiday Inn also on Regional Road which runs along beside of I-40. There are several places just off 40 near the Wendover Avenue area. I believe there is a Hampton Inn on Wendover. By the way...there are a bunch of "entertainment" spots on Wendover and on High Point Road if that is something that you are seeking.

Went to the Bulls slaughter last night and saw The Cup. Kinda sucked that you could only get within 2 - 3 feet of it to take the pictures, plus the fact that Cole and Wardo did not sign autographs - other than the lucky few in the front row. Cole was my first custom! But it was as a Starting Line Up .... 4 years ago with the playoff beard. Turned out pretty decent. That is another one I want to do. So many freakin ideas, not enough time in a day. I use Plaid Outdoor/Indoor Gloss for the pants and Apple Barrel Bright Red for the jerseys/socks/helmets.

just a bump to support the card shop (steve's cards and coins) in cary that opened a while back...went by there today, and he had alot of wax...it is near the k and s cafeteria and what will be the old crossroads ford...he has pretty good prices...of course, they are really good prices for the only game in town...nice guy too...he has a couple of people that work in there for him that are collectors and nice to talk to...i bought a box of 2006 donruss classics football for a good price, and got a barry sanders auto numbered to 20...probably one of the best pulls...i have no idea what it is worth, but it may be hitting ebay soon...

Nothing new in Goldsboro... Wal-Mart is about the only place that carries SP's anymore, and since they re-did the store, they have a very limited selection of anything!!!

Only thing I will be looking for is Larry Johnson figs from NFL 14... the reg, and chase (if they make one, I'm sure they will)... Will want multiples of the reg of course... one to keep MOMC, and one to open up :)

BTW: Stay away from the H20 HD receiver... they are having MAJOR problems with them... if your willing to take the risk with it, it will be worth it in the end. MPEG4 is up and running now, and the picture quality is AMAZING in Hi-Def... :)
