thanks billy. preesh!! i'll be at the fair today checkin' out da freak's walking around snacking on those big ass turkey legs. hilarious! i'll be eating some deep fried snickers as i watch them. also, a cold diet coke to wash it down. ha ha :spawnskul

ed, i will check sometime on saturday for the 3 pack...if i find one, it is yours...i will also eat some fried coke in your honor at the fair...or maybe a fried twinkie...or maybe a fried french from al's...actually a fried piece of poo poo would taste good as long as i had some ranch!!

The Bobcats event at Concord Mills was unorganized and crowded, but I still managed to get most of my stuff signed by Morrison, May, Felton & Okafor. Good to see ya out there Toyfan. Hopefully I can get out of work for the Smith signing Tues.

Yepp same here... wow it was nearly impossible to get to everyone. I think i got all but like 1 or 2 people.. so next thing imma do is the steve smith at alltel wireless :)

Alright, I just won an ebay auction for 2 Titans Mawae's for $30 with s&h, not bad considering $10 a fig and I don't have time with football to run all around hitting TRUs to find two Mawaes. So, that was a pretty good deal.

I went to TRU in Fayetteville today and they had some of the three packs, Patriots, Giants and Cowboys, no Steelers.

Just got back from a house hunting trip in NC. Looks like we will be living in Indian Trail.:) I was in the South Park mall and actually found a White Payton and Raiders Lott hanging on the pegs in Champs:eek::D Not a bad little NC haul!!:p

I saw one person here was planning on going to the Steve Smith appearance today @ Alltel. Boy what a disaster. The paper & radio stated he was going to sign Carolina Panthers Merchandise. But once the signing started Steve would only sign a photo of himself with Alltels logo on it. There were several irate individuals some of which had been standing in line since around 1pm & it started @ 5pm. The first 100 people could get a voice mail by Steve on their cell phone, which was kind of a cool offer but it didnt compensate for the false info regarding the signing. Probably not Steves fault, more like Alltels. Steves auto is much tougher to get for free after the year he had last year, he will rarely sign after practice from what I have seen . Too bad his EQT jerseys were not available the year his leg was broke when I got both a white panel football & a mini helmet signed when he was doing an appearance every other week.

I was there for the signing. It wasnt to awful bad the 8x10 photo dont look to bad when its framed. I got plenty of stuff signed by him i just aint the type thats gonna pass up on a free auto. I did have my pro bowl jersey but ill be able to get it signed here in a few months for next to nothing :)

found two mawaes at the tru in cary...it was weird, i checked out the section, and nothing new...then i walked around forever looking for some gifts for nieces and nephews, stopped back by, and there was a cadillac and two mawaes...i picked up both for boardies, so they are for anyone, just post if you want them...i know they are not as rare as they first were thought to be, but i thought maybe a couple of people on here would want them...they also had a random super bowl two pack that i had not seen with hasselback and steeler guy...there were no three packs at 6 tonight...

wulf and horseman, since you all responded first, you both have first up on them...i simply picked them up for board members that were interested...i paid the tru 9.99 plus tax...my earlier post may be confusing...i picked up two mawaes and i did not get the cadillac...i started to, but left it...i can run back and see if it is there in the morning if anyone is interested...in terms of trade, i can do that with no problem...i really do not collect that much anymore, i simply have fun looking and hope i can help one of you guys out...let me know...i will check in and out this evening and in the morning...

well i dont think anyone thought Carolina would win, but i actually thought they would put it together and win out for Bunting but guess not, and i actually thought State had gotten it all figured out, but 3 in a row down, and virginia isnt that good this year, man the ACC is a mess, miami could have gone to the Championship if they would have won out, but they lost, wake forest is what 5-1 in conference? i thought that evans kid was gonna turn out being like rivers, but stone was put in the game.
Stupid mistakes at the end of the game kill us everytime, and stupid penalties through out the game...Evans will be good...and we put Stone in the game b/c he runs better (he did a couple of option plays...which he still sucks)

overrated, underachievers...whatever you want to say about this team is true...dropped passes, bad o-line, all-world d-line getting destroyed again by another o-line and killing us with penalties, jake is not good right now, deshaun will never be a big-time back, mistakes, soft coverage, tight ends killing us, short passing games kill us, bad cornerbacks...this team looks panicked and overwhelmed with their own expectations...the team looks in disarray...fox looks uncertain...i hate to watch every week and love a team that continues to play mediocre, and underachieves...this team on paper looks a lot better than this...

overrated, underachievers...whatever you want to say about this team is true...dropped passes, bad o-line, all-world d-line getting destroyed again by another o-line and killing us with penalties, jake is not good right now, deshaun will never be a big-time back, mistakes, soft coverage, tight ends killing us, short passing games kill us, bad cornerbacks...this team looks panicked and overwhelmed with their own expectations...the team looks in disarray...fox looks uncertain...i hate to watch every week and love a team that continues to play mediocre, and underachieves...this team on paper looks a lot better than this...

Had a Carolina Kids Clud event to go to yesterday, got to watch the mens team practice and got 30 min on the court for some autos & pics. So we got ready to leave and are walking to the truck when two students walk up and ask so what going over here this evening and I tell what was going on and they say we heard that they are giving out Smith Center seats tonight at 7:30 pm ok we can wait one hr or so, plus the players are still in the building watching film. So I can wait for some seats and get the rest of the autos that I need. So we got 2 team signed basketballs, 2 Inside Carolina mags signed by Tyler (ie got Tylers auto 4 times, he is hard as HE** to get) and 25 to 30 seats out of the Smith Center. All in all had a very good evening, also got home a little after midnight.

i cant believer NC state, thought they were gonna win again, but fell short, and to make matters worse, i couldnt even watch the game cause it wasnt on tv except for ESPN U, it looked like it was a good game so they have clemson, UNC and ECU left right? if they win out they can still go to a bowl,

Its good to UNC has some offense, putting up 21 against Notre Dame, too bad its a little too late in the season to have the offense show up now, and UNC has officialy offered the Head football coaching vacancy to butch davis, if he comes i gurantee an ACC title real soon, and there might be a waiting list for Airfans Season tickets, so since they announced the firing UNC has found offense...........but still no win

so whats the opinion of the NC boardies.....who will win the State/UNC game, both teams arent doing well, and well that game might be the only bragging either team can do this year,

boogie, you are right, man...injuries have destroyed you...alexander and haselback being down have really hurt you...it is hard to pick up a good player after the draft process...i had steve smith at the beginning of the year, and him being out cost me at the wr and qb position b/c i had delhomme...alexander has been out almost all year, and he would be producing tomlinson numbers...25 points from one player makes a huge difference...i feel for you, boogie...of course, unless we are playing against each other!!

I think NC State will win a close one with UNC...its gonna be a good one. Andre Brown is a good player and should run all over the UNC D, but the key to the game in my eyes are Darrell Blackmon, if he returns kicks well and catches a couple of balls for big plays it'll be over, our LBs have to step up too. And for the record, Tank Tyler is a beast...we have to learn how to finish games...we lose close games that we should win every week.

well, if you ask me basketball wise....it doesnt matter if you win in the regular season or the acc tourney (state,UNC,duke related) all that matters is who is standing on top of the mountain in March, and i hate to say it, cause this will give spark and jeff too much satisfaction, but i think the heels would be one of my 3 choices to be on top of the mountain in march.

nc state, this is really not a talking s*** post i am going to make right now, so please do not take it that way...who in the world is taking the place of the four players you mentioned? you have to take a look at the pack's lineup...i am not being biased right now...there is no way that a lineup of atsur, costner, fells, grant, and some other guy on that team will compete against the top teams in the league...you are the only state fan who has even suggested that they can compete, and everyone i know is a state fan...i understand being hopeful, but come on...i like lowe as a choice for coach, and i pull for the pack every other game they play other than when they play my alma mater...i go see at least two state games a year...but, the heels are loaded...three friends of mine who are local high school basketball coaches and are not even fans of the heels, went to a clinic a couple of weeks ago put on by roy williams for coaches and watched the team practice after the clinic...all three agreed that the heels have 14 guys who can start on any team in the league...the problem is going to be finding enough minutes for all that talent...

again i hate to say it, but the heels have a squad, that boy umber 34 does nothing but ROCK the rim, as for State, this will be a true test for sydney lowe, i wasnt impressed with him being picked for the coaching slot, but he might be able to put it together and get them 20 wins and a bid to the tourney, but that wasnt good enough for sendek in the packs fans eyes so i dont know why that would be good enough for him, look at roy williams, last year the heels werent picked to do much because of everyone they lost from leaving early but williams is a hell of a coach and he put it together, just like Coach K, he really didnt have alot of big name game breaking talent except for who J J re****, and he still won the ACC, so if Lowe can really "coach" then yes State might pull off an upset here or there in the ACC,

and to quote spark, well unless something really bad happens like the whole freshman class and hansbrough all leave school or get kicked off the team then Carolina wont be falling off the mountain for a while, they might not stay on top of that mountain after this year but they will be close enough to reach the peak.

Man what a tuff day, had to pull a double went the the Tarheels fb game then walked over to the Smith Center and watched the basketball team, very nice day to be outside and watch some fb even though they lost the game and should have won (ie 2 ints in the endzone. Got my third team signed basketball and got Hansbrough to sign my ball plus 3 mags. Not a bad day at all. Those of you that want some chairs from the Smith Center, I hope to put them together this week coming up.

A post where I toot my own horn...When I opened that spx football box 3 months ago, I remember telling a friend what i pulled, and remember telling him i got this rookie card of this 7th round draft pick from hofstra, who i was not familiar with...glad i pulled that numbered rookie card, which is currently selling for $40...after i saw that he was a starting wr for the saints, i decided to buy an auto'd rookie card of his numbered to 150 for $25...i also got him as a free agent in the fantasy league...man, do i love colston, not just because he is doing great in fantasy (so much that i was willing to give up reggie wayne in the fantasy league for some good players b/c of him) , but because that rookie card is currently selling for over $150!!! i should have bought more...on saturday, his auto'd rookie cards numbered above 500 were selling for $50...they are now up to $75...man, it is hard to hold onto those cards knowing that i can some good money for them...how much will they go up?

up in 7 of 8 games going into the fourth quarter, and the panthers are 4-4...lots of lost opportunties, BUT (and it is a big butt), with a win tonight, we are tied for the wild card with 7 games left...and of course, one game out of first...we have to go at least 6-2 in the second half...GO CATS!!!!

Bump for BullDogg and the Penguins massive win over a previously unbeaten hockey team today ... 11-3. BDogg was pretty bored in net only having to face a total of 14 shots but when he had to, the saves were BIG!!! Best team win I have seen while he has played.
