i gave myself some awesome christmas gifts this weekend at the card show...i will not mention how much i spent, but i did open a few football boxes including an spx, 3 gridiron gears, a legends and 2 sweet spots...this vendor from tennessee was there again, and has really good prices on wax...i have his business card and website if anyone is looking for some good deals on wax...i did get a bush/white dual auto #'d to 50, a marino auto #'d to 100 (redemption), aj hawk auto #'d to 299, mario williams auto #'d to 499, and a pile of jerseys including an aj hawk dual 3-color jerseys from ohio state and the packers #'d to 50...i am happy with the cards, but i am not sure if i am at least going to get my money back...anyway, good to see the boardies out there in full force...thanks to ed and sparky for letting me open some boxes at their tables...sparky's customs are getting sweeter and sweeter by the day!

Yes, I would like to know about Perry! I know that he is signing at the Embassy Suites Grand in Winston on January 26 at the Winston-Salem Baseball Charity Hot Stove Banquet. You have to purchase a ticket to attend the banquet and tickets are $35 each. I contacted the Warthogs media relations person and he confirmed that Perry would be available for autographs.

There is alot of chatter out. About John Fox being traded to the Giants. I heard it on the radio and also on a couple of message boards. I could see Coach Fox going to New York if they do indeed get rid of Tom Coughlin. There is alot more speculation involved about the details of what it would be.

With all of that being said Chicago Bears DC Ron Rivera was in Charlotte meeting with Panthers GM Marty Hurney earlier this week. Rivera is seeking a head coaching job. So i guess we will see how everything turns out.

Me personally i hope it aint true. I like Fox being in Carolina. How ever if he leaves he needs to take Dan Henning with him

Yeah Billy I agree. I haven't watched must college basketball yet, partly because of bowl games and partly because I don't care for many teams outside the ACC. So, I couldn't wait for conference play to start.

The App men's basketball team is doing well this year 11-3 with the only losses to
V Tech, Wake and Clemson and they have beat Vandy, Virginia and VCU.

Just got back from the heels game...terry puts up a zero, ellington is 3-12, two players score in double figures, and we win by 26 over a pretty good team...fsu really has nothing inside, but they are quick...the heels have been fun to watch with my 9 pack of games...i hate that the 9 pack is done, but it has been fun...will def. try to do it again next year...

Thats not going to get you any wins in the ACC. Hope they got his replacement coming in next year because if he doesn't shape up he might as well transfer to a football program to play QB, what he probably should have done to begin with.

i not throwing paulus to the wolves yet...........he made a great comeback and then this horrible game, but he only played 18 minutes.........time will tell...........coach k needs to get on the recruiting trail and a STUD PG.........cause right now it aint looking to good....scheyer is playing out of postion @ pg right now, but doing well...........so far coming next year are 2 SF and 1 SG..........need a PF maybe, but a PG is a must

billy, he was signing at the new circuit city in raleigh off capital by triangle town center. i drove by about 45 minutes before he was to sign and the line was wrapped around the outside of the building. i would guesstimate about 200-300 people. i drove the parking lot twice and couldn't even get a parking spot. also, it was raining and about 35 degrees so, it was a easy decision for me. i headed back to the house. hopefully some of the nc boardies had some luck with it. ed
