^^i agree, but no one has brought up the breakdown he had once he noticed his nose was bleeding. im not saying that he is to blame or anything but he was so furious he nearly broke down in tears...and when he went through the tunnel he threw his mouth piece.

i know he got hit and its questionable on if it was intentional but he knows that he has a great reputation with the media/fans and he goes and throws a fit like a idiot once he sees blood.

i know alot will not agree with what im sayin but did anyone else pick up on this.

joe .... that had to be one of the dumbest comments on Tyler that I have read or even heard on all the sports talk shows. Someone flies in and smacks you on the nose, intentional or not, first thing that happens is your eyes tear up. Second thing, I am sure that mutha hurt - and seeing the blood I am certain it infuriated him more - It damn sure would piss me off. So I guess you can consider me "alot" as I do not agree with anything you said.

We have heard from Tyler, why have we not heard from Henderson yet?

I've had my nose broken by a baseball and know how it must have felt. Its on the same level of pain as being kicked in the balls very hard. I understand why he was upset.

Anyone going to the Hickory show this weekend?

I'll be set up, but won't have anywhere near the amount of SP's I normally have. Sold off about 95% of my figs, but will still have some stuff.

If anyone is going to be there, and has NHL chases/variants they want to trade, bring them out. Looking for various pieces from the last few series.

Oh, I will have plenty of cards and Star Wars figs I'll be looking to move out.

Congrats to the Pack. Atsur played one hell of a 2nd half, and Costner one hell of a game. Be pulling for you the rest of the way. I thought Duke actually played pretty good even though they lost. Pocius really impressed me the way he was driving to the basket. He stepped up big in place of Henderson. Oh well, plenty of rest before the NCAA's start.

how many people do you think will at the game in tampa sunday if va tech and boston college are in the acc finals...tampa was a bad idea for a tourney...a state/unc final would be awesome...on a separate note, those current baseball figs really do not interest me...the cooperstown do a little, especially with the joe ted and roger figs...but overall, the sp's are really not that interesting...GO HEELS

Just FYI. TRU in Pineville had plenty of Cooperstown 4 yesterday. I actually found 2 Ted Williams chases! They also had Yankees 3-packs. TRU in Concord only had Cubs and Yankees 3-packs. No MLB 17 at either store yet!?!?!?!

Kent had a giants chase, Mulder had a gray chase(TRU-Concord has had one for at least a month now), and Varitek had a gray chase. The rest were all regulars.

I think I was a bit more excited though for BullDogg's hockey team in the Canes Cup Tourney this weekend ... was crushed yesterday 1-8 and had to win every period of 2 games today and did it 6-2 and 6-1. RYHA Peewee Penguins are in the SEMI's!!!!!

i didnt say that......zoubeck/thomas/mcclure get lumped into that status is all...good not great...heck casey "freakin" sanders was an all american:eek: ...but look how he turned out.......all hyped high school talent dont pan out.....same way hyped college talent dont pan out in the pros.......correct me if im wrong...terry wasnt mcdonalds and such, but i think he can be awesome in the league w/ his size and skill set

this is a great tourney so far in terms of second round matchups...not a lot of upsets, so the second round games ought to be really good...xavier/osu, kansas/kentucky, msu/unc...it seems like the 4 and 5 matchups are going to be great...

on a different note, i stopped and bought a box of topps finest baseball and got a ryan howard auto...it is a nice looking card...it is not numbered, but is selling about 50 to 70 dollars on ebay...it might just go to the bay...

sparky, you are right, man, that was a great ending...probably the best ending to a game i have seen in a while

i hate it for harding for duke today...she is one of best players in the country, and missing those free throws is a horrible way to go out...i was hoping for the pack, the devils and the heels to go further...here is to kay yow and the lady pack against the huskies tonight...would love to see her win that game!!!!

boogie, i have yet to decide if it was a meltdown or simply a team going ice cold from the field losing to a hotter team down the stretch...g-town shot well all game...even up by 6 to 11 during most of the first 30 minutes, i was frustrated at how well g-town was shooting, and not only b/c of the easy backdoors they were getting...i knew when the hoyas went about 4 minutes without a field goal and we had not increased the lead, that we were in trouble...i've been a heels fan for 38 years and i have never seen us shoot 2-23 during any stretch...the hoyas never gave up and once they saw their opportunity, unlike us, they took advantage...i have always said this team lacked that killer instinct...i compare to the devils teams with laettner and the devils teams with boozer and jay williams in that those teams never let up...they rarely wasted a possession...if it could have gone wrong yesterday, it did...i honestly never thought we would get by usc or georgetown...i have heard from some people close to the b-ball program that lawson and wright are leaving...according to my friends, lawson quit going to class a few weeks ago and he and roy do not get along...i sort of feel like the less the merrier, not the more...i think roy did a great job with the minutes this year...in today's game you have to recruit as if several players are going early and we had a lot of guys this year...take out terry and miller and maybe ty and wright, and that still leaves a really good team...and a team with less expectations, which always is fun...of course, this banks on tyler staying and no one transferring...anyway, ON TO BASEBALL

ed, tbs shows very little if any braves games during spring training...they actually are going to show far less this year as well...by the way, are you setting up at the show in april?

i may set up at the show tomorrow b/c my wife is sick and cannot go to the beach...i posted on a different thread about a card i pulled...i bought a box of 2004 leaf certified materials baseball and pulled a pants card of lou gehrig numbered 1 of 5...the pants are blue and grey...i tried to find something similar, and have a rough idea of how much this card might be worth...if anyone has an idea, let me know...if i set up or not, i am bringing some stuff out to the show for trade in the morning

They usually go on sale in Mid to Late July. Last year there were on sale the 1st day of training camp. Just check the website. They will post it on the front page.. date and time and so on.

I have a question for the boardies in the Charlotte area. Here is what I am trying to accomplish. Homer Bailey is the next big time pitcher in baseball. Right now he is at Louisville. The Bats will be in Charlotte at the end of the month. I know that some of the minor league stadiums are open in the afternoon during BP, etc. Is Charlotte accessible at around 4 P.M.?

Setting up - right now I have 2 tables, but that may be whittled down to 1. Ed is dropping out of this one ... Let me know if Ray can set you up next to me. Also - let me know if you get the table as I will wait to release mine to you.
