I did a run today in the W/S area and there was nothing new.

My local Wal Mart got some MLB 9 in. There were no variants theough. They also got the Earnhardt box set in.

No luck on the WWE Classic series two either :(

Hey guys!!! The Game Stop in Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem, NC has the MLB 10. There were four cases put out. I picked up the Tejada chase, the Schilling chase, the Pettitte chase, and the Clemens chase. I have never had a haul like that before. It was like Christmas came in June!!! I left another Tejada chase and two Schilling chases.

fenwayp...I collect only baseball and hockey SP's. Frankly I do not see for profit...if I find something and someone else is looking for it, I just trade for a baseball or hockey SP straight up. If I find a variant, I should probably try to get more from it but then I would be going against everything that I have believe in and have posted those thoughts on this board for awhile now so that is why I do things the way I do.

Today I took a walk to the Mall in New Bern (small), and went to EB games to check out some games and there was Albert Pujols 2, Andy Pettitte, Roger Clemens, Derek Jeter 2, and a Rafael Palmeiro (O's). So I asked the manager person that was there if they had any more, well he says that he still has a couple of the NFL 6 & 7, MLB 9, and NBA 6. I asked him if they have any from this series and he comes out with a Palmerio Rangers. So I pick up the Palmerio Rangers, O's, and the Pujols 2.

Sort of a surprise to me but I went to the grand opening of the new Circuit City in Rocky Mount and Muhsin Muhhamad was there signing footballs. I paid $30 but the proceeds went to a local youth organization. I shook his hand and wished him good luck for this season. First sports star I've met personally in quite a while. I've met a couple before: Julius Peppers, Kelvin Bryant, Grant Hill, Jerry Stackhouse, Bobby Hurley, Tim Wakefield, Chris Chambliss and Mark Worhlers. What sports stars have you all met before? Did anyone get Phillip Rivers autograph at the fairgrounds a few weeks back?

Have not checked, but has anyone found any new stuff in the last few days? Also, has anyone in the Charlotte area ever attended a sports card show there put on by inside pitch? I live in Raleigh and have been to several here. Do they draw many vendors? I am going to the Panthers training camp next weekend in Spartanburg, SC, and may stop by that show on my way back Sunday. If it is not worth much, I may swing by the Falcons training camp in Greenville, SC.

Its nice to see any new Panthers added. Its better than a custom, unless Jumos doing it. Im not too keen on the Gannon pose but i fugured hed be the one chosen because his tongue sticks out. The face mask doesnt match, and the playcalling armband is missing. Im not sure if they slimmed down Gannons belly or not and i dont like the tiny cry towel (picky) Id have prefered the Gannon face added to the Pennington or Carr pose personally if he wasnt getting a new sculpt. But like i said after Peppers and Davis its nice to get another anyway. Maybe Smitty will burn it up this coming year and his small stature will demand an original sculpt.
Its disapointing to see your fav team come out with an old sculpt but its better than nothing.

I was also told that Gamestop is changing their reserve policy, so now if one reserves a case, one must buy the entire case. I guess after getting in 20 cases of the last MLB series and 20 cases of NFL 8, they are having trouble moving the leftover regs.
