Found NFL 10 in G'ville TRU today, 4 figures missing, no variants. 1 Vinateri, 2 LT's, 2 TO's, 2 Moss', and a Rickey Williams I believe. Hopefulle you got these chase/variants boogie or ncstate instead of that 50 year old loser who scalps them. Checked EB games and Wally World too, and nothing.

I've found around 15 now, probably bought 10 of them. The black Bell and white Plummer were the last ones I've stumbled upon. Oh and a white Garret Anderson, sold it to a board member for C + S.

i wish...when i got there they had the 2moss 2lt 2to and 1trent green.........guess u got the vinateri;) ....got 1moss 1to and 1lt..........i now just want the reg roy reg correct rickey and vinateri........and maybe the blue delhomme:D

This is the 1st one i did using a broncos jake figure I'm olny posting one pic of this on because its just ok. I did fine with the paint but the decals I used didnt want to stick very good.

Hey guys! New to the boards. I'm from Hickory, NC. Went to TRU this morning and they finally put out NFL Series 10 and Hockey and Hotwheels. I picked up Roy Williams Variant (2), Randy Moss Variant (2), Warren Sapp Chase. I'm looking for the Delhomme Chase. Hockey Lineups I didnt really look at. Not to big into Hockey! And Hotwheels I found Zamacs. Finally a lucky day!

Anyone in the Triad area, I just went to EB Games at Hanes Mall in Winston Salem, They got two cases in today. Case breakdown is as follows:

Case 1:
2 Delhommes - 1 chase 1 reg (I bought the chase)
2 Roy Williams - 1 chase 1 reg (I bought both)
2 Ricky Williams
2 Randy Moss
2 T.O. (I bought one)
1 L.T. (I bought one)
1 Adam V.

Case 2:
2 Delhommes
2 L.T. - 1 chase 1 reg
2 T.O.
2 Ricky WIlliams - 1 chase 1 reg (both with neon facemask)

1 Trent Green ( I bought this one)

I left the L.T. chase, I just wanted the reg b/c it is different than series 3. Also left the Orange Ricky, really cool figure just didnt want it. Happy Hunting!

I am stoked b/c I got the 2 chases I was looking for out of this set, being the Jake and Roy.

I went there on Tuesday. They had gotten 4 cases in, the toy manager there told me I was the second one to look through them, no chases left. I got Adam V. and a reg Roy W. and an entire set for my brother. The manager said that the first guy said there were no chases in any of the cases yet there were 9 figures misssing.......interesting.

Hey Tony, I went back on my lunch break and Adam V. was already gone, I would have picked it up for you no prob. I will keep my eye out if I see another I will let you know. Have you had a chance to check Eb at 4 Seasons? I know the manager at Hanes Mall told me all EB's in this area would be getting theirs today. I plan on hitting the Oak Hollow Mall EB after work. jross I went to EB in 4 seasons after I went to TRU and the manager there said they dont have them yet. But they did put out a bunch of NFL 8 and 9. Plus, they hate me there........I then traveled over to Wallyworld on Battleground and had been beaten out by the same guys that beat me to them at TRU I presume if you find one let me know if not I'm going to go the e-bay route. I really wish that TMP would produce a proper amount of figures that they know everyone will want..........

Just made a Crabtree Mall run just prior to closing and, as luck would have it, EB Games at the Mall had just opened what appeared to be two cases about an hour or so before I arrived.

Here's what was found (22 figures present):

4 white Roy Williams
4 reg Randy Moss
4 reg Terrell Owens
4 reg Ricky Williams (ugly blue mask)
2 reg Ladainian Tomlinson
1 reg Jake Delhomme
2 Adam Vinatieri (bought both...gonna open one :D !)

let's see...that makes 8...16...21...what did I say, there were 22 ?

Oh yeah...whomever snagged the 2 missing figures (I assume variants), failed to notice one small item...the BLUE JERSEY JAKE DELHOMME that was hanging up on the peg all by his lonesome :D

I am holding onto this for now, as it seems it could be harder to locate than most chase figures in NFL10...plus I actually LOVE the blue jersey...looks sweet ! I can just see Mike Vrabel sackin' the life out of him in the Super Bowl again :D

Anyways, I was pretty excited...I am still hunting...will see if I can find another...the thrill of the hunt is so much fun, isn't it ??

FYI...I went to Cary TRU tonight and checked out the 12" situation...LO AND BEHOLD...they are shelf-tagged at $29.99, scan on the scanner at $19.99 and it mentions a $10 discount...they ring up at the register at $9.99 EACH !!!! I grabbed 1 Holmes, 1 Moss, 1 McNair, 1 Urlacher, 1 Manning and 1 White TRU Exclusive McNabb. They still have plenty of McNair, Moss, Manning and McNabb, 2 Holmes and no more Urlachers...GET EM WHILE THEY ARE CHEAP !!!

my purchases are going to be cut right now...i hit a friggin dear on sunset lake road between cary and fuquay a couple of days ago. it was around 6 am going to work. that thing must have been running 40 miles an hour out of a friggin neighborhood, not the woods. it was crazy. i slammed on breaks, but still nailed that son of a $$$$$ in the backside. that thing went flying too. thank god there was no other care coming the other way because i am sure he would have hit the thing again, or at least swerved and hit me. did some damage to my car, so i got a bill coming. i may even set up at the card show for the first time in about a year to get some money back. i have been buying and buying thinking my spending $ was extra. it is always the unexpected expenses that ruin my sportspicks fun!

Man, I am so sorry...I am always fearful of those deer, especially this time of year. I am glad that you are okay, though...don't sell off anything you would regret selling later, though. Take 2nd aisle on your left once you pass the stuffed animals.
All the Sports Figures will be on your left.
It is basically in the Board Games section now.

They switched it about two months ago.

Dude, I just ban shopping on the Friday after Thanksgiving...took my family bowling (first time for my 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son !!) It was very fun ! My 8 month old can't quite get the ball down there yet (although he would likely try and drool on it :) )

So, no finds today...just some good family time :) Sorry about your Faulk...bet it looks sweet open, though...that is one of the few early figs I have, along with a Harrison and Edgerrin James...it is a beauty...wish I could find a Colts Faulk someday...

I swung by the Concord Mills TRU last night and picked up a 12" Holmes, they had a case of NFL 9 ??? being put out, so I picked up another Phins' Seau, left the Black Bell. They also had two cases of 12" to restock with, 1 McNabb repaint, couldn't tell on the other. When is wally world finally going to get their NFL 10?

sbrooks1, don't know a thing about any of those figs, but according to all that left remarks on that thread, congrats on the haul. all i collect is the sports figs. now, if within that find was perhaps, a no helmet delhomme variant with moss on the back of his jersey on a sapp raiders card, then i would really congratulate you...or if that 18 inch bride figure was the variant thong version...or if that scarface fig was the one that actually had real blood on it and actually talked ("you ######## ca-ka-roash")...then, maybe I would really congratulate you. hey, we have a good thing going, you come down and get some figs, and we come up and buy some lottery tix. not a bad relationship.

those scarface figs are pretty sweet...i bet some of the kids i teach would love it if i brought one of those figs into my classroom. they would freak. i see alot of scarface t-shirts on my kids. i may run by suncoast and pick one up. i am sure any parents that visit my classroom would absolutely love it if i had those things laying around. i probably would spend alot more time on the board b/c i would be looking for a new job.

Once again ive gotta give a shout out to Fenway. Your like my super scout. TRU had more SP's there than ive ever seen last night. They even had some Delhommes so hit it now people.

Picked up a Delhomme, Moss, Owens, Tomlinson and a Manning 2 pack. They still have loads left. No proper Williams facemask tho. All (about 3) have the weird aqua mask.

I opened the Delhomme but the rest will go under the tree. Question about the Delhomme, i thought the whole idea of using the Gannon pose was because he sticks his tongue out. Yet the head is different, is it new or someone elses reused? I love the detail in these figures and the Variant Delhomme is sweet but if they went a made a new head why not have his trademark tongue sticking out and why the WRONG helmet?

If anyone is interested the newly reopened Kay-Bee at Oak Hollow Mall in High Point just got in NFL 10. I was there last night about 9:15. They had about 4 of every reg, including about 2 Adam V., 4 Delhomme (I bought 1 for my uncle's Christmas) and about 4 Roy Williams. They also had a double star Roy sitting on the first peg. I couldnt believe it b/c it looked as if they had gotten about 3 or 4 cases and this was the only chase that was left behind. I bought it to give my brother (huge Boys fan) for Christmas. This time it it a 3-day show (Fri-Sun) I am not setting up at this one but will probably go on Sat for a few hours and will be taking about 40 figs from various series and sports to possibly trade or sell. I am setting up at the show this weekend in Raleigh. My deer accident is going to cost me, so I just paid to have a table. I will not be there Friday because I have a game (the thrill of high school friday night basketball), but i will be there first thing on Saturday. I have a number of auto cards mostly from panthers, braves, and nc guys in the pros. I also have bobbleheads and a number of mcfarlanes. I spend all year collecting and buying, and then usually set up at a show around christmas, and see if anyone else wants my stuff. the sad thing is, i usually loose my a## in the resell part, but i have too much fun buying. i don't set up to make money, although, it is nice if i do, i generally set up cause it is fun every now and then. if no one buys my stuff, i generally get some good trades going. if you are stopping by out there, introduce yourself. you can call me biscuit, but billy is actually my name. if you are interested in buying, let me know you are a board member, and we can work out a good deal.

Looked and saw a Vinateri and others i had already picked up a few days ago. Walk around to the other side and they had like 3 Delhomme VARIANTS and the Williams. Grabed the Roy and 1 Delhomme but left the rest. They're 11.99 tho.Happy Hunting.

Who's Walmart has gotten NFL10? Sardis Rd. appartently got it awhile ago, Albermarle got 1 case awhile ago, nothing since. Nothing at Concord or exit 60 on I85. Please note if your Walmart got cases and how many (if known). I remember this time last year they were all getting two to three a piece. Anyone know if the Mooresville (exit 36) has gotten their's. Or the Gastonia wally's?

Boogie, Just click on the grey scales on someones' post that you want to give rep pts. Then a box pops up and you can give positive or negative pts. Just click aprrove or dissaprove and leave a comment in the box. You can only give some many reps a day and then it will tell you you have to wait 24 hrs to give more. Joerrad, I went to the show today as well. Talked to bizquit1969 who had a table set up there. He is such a nice guy. He gave me a great price on a panthers davis retro i have been wanting forever. Also, talked to Zubaslava and SRmeyer52 from the board who also had tables. For those who didn't go you should go on Sun. They all had some good deals going on with figs, cards and such. hey joerad, i just got back on the board. no, that wasn't me. i was over to the right when you walk in towards the back. i ended up selling some figs, cards and bobbles. mostly panthers stuff. sold both vick red 12's, 3 delhomme variants($25), a brady ($30), double star williams($25) and 2 astros ryans($25) among other things. the show was really slow, so i just sold stuff basically for a little more than i bought it. i wish more of you guys would have been able to make the trip. i was giving some pretty good deals out there, as were most people. bluedevils was out there selling, and he gave me a great deal on a trade. he is a really good guy. maybe the january show will be busier.

i cant picture where you were bizquit. i was wearing a nc state sweatshirt yesterday. i think this show was better than the show in gboro a weekend or two ago. they had more toys and crap like that.

yea, the show was better for a buyer. there were some really nice figs/cards out there. it just was not that good in terms of amount of people who came out. i was behind the guy that had the bumper from one of gordan's cars sitting on two chairs. i was on the second to the last row. there was also a guy who had all the pix and autos from mounted memories and steiner that was on my same row. nonetheless, it is always fun to me to sit out there, people watch, shoot the s$$$, and trade/buy more stuff. although this time, i bought nothing. outside of a trade with bluedevils, i got no new figs. i was afraid to buy anything, because i figured last time i bought a bunch of new stuff i hit that deer. maybe this time, karma would have put a cow in front of my car.

They had one 12" Manning on the shelf. I scanned if and came up at $19.99. I thought the 12" figures at TRU were on sale for $9.99 ea. Was that only for a very short time?

I got those Chases at CARY TOWN CENTER. That games store opposite Suncoast movies or whatever its called below the foodcourt behind the dakota watch kiosk. I thought it was EB Games but i guess it could be a babbages. There were loads when i was there. 3 chase Delhommes not whites. I would have grabbed them all but im not in it for profit and Christmas funds are getting tight, plus i figured id help you guys out as Fenway has helped me. If i come across another i'll keep you in mind.

Snagged one of each Shannon Sharpe CC figures today...I think they are both sold out already...anyone else get theirs ? Also, NFL10 hit Walmart in Fuquay-Varina...grabbed a two-bar facemask Vinatieri to add to my collection of Vinatieri's with 3-bar masks...I like the way the two bar looks a lot more ! That WalMart in Fuquay this morning had 1 white Roy Williams, 2 reg Moss, 2 reg Owens, 1 reg Ricky Williams, 1 reg Tomlinson, 1 reg Delhomme and (no exaggeration) FOURTEEN Portis-Lewis 2-packs ! WOW !
