im al for kendall since he was in the bucco pose.....i think he wasted alot of our time hitting only 2 homeruns some years but he was the face of this franchise.....maybe youll get kendall when I get a pirate that still plays no LEGEND haha but its ok

Hey Ed, I put Jason on the cover of the A's Spring Training magazine. It didn't turn out as nice as I would have liked (the color was off) but the inside turned out nice.

that man hasn't hit a home-run in almost 700 at-bats.... WOW? And you guys want a re-paint figure for him? What a waste of money, time, & thought.... I'd rather have Michael Barrett instead....

Me too. And I've made many of the same arguments that you have. I even kidded Ed about TMP making a special limited edition of Kendall, equal to the number of homers he hit last year.

But there's no Michael Barrett petition thread with this much support.

I actually don't want an A's Kendall myself, but I promised Ed I'd bump this thread till the cows come home. :D

Reasons I want a Kendall Repaint

1. I'm an A's fan. :D

2. Kendall is easily becoming my favortie catcher of all-time.

3. He plays the game right.

4. There's more to catching than hitting HRs. I don't see many catchers diving head first to make the final out of a game in July. Or arguing with the umpire that you were safe when you've just dislocated your ankle. He has a huge desire to win and will sacrafice his well being to win and you don't see that much from guys making 11 million a year.

Of course I would be happy with a Michael Barrett "2 hrs as an Oakland A" figure. :D

They just made quick mention of it. Although they did show Bonds, Ortiz and Pujols hitting home runs and said "some make it look easy but it took someone else 941 at-bats to do it"; just before they went to break.
