Oh my gawd, last night I went to see Paul Dianno ( vocalist on Maiden's first two albums) at the Cat House and I got to meet him afterwards!!! he signed some stuff and I shook his hand like a bagillion times, I mean Paul Dianno, a legend in the metal world. What a way to round off the year, meeting Paul Dianno. Except for all the awful things which have been going on with my personal life, on a larger scale, 2005 has been the best year in a long, long time for me.

Update on AC Cloud + Fenrir, its scheduled to ship in March 2006 in window boxed packaging. Theres also a two page advert for it and the new head looks so much better then the Japanese version. I so damn want this gor-ramn bike, it'd be the best piece I own. March is too far away...

Excellent! Din't ask for anything so I just got the usual aftershave, tolietries, clothes and stuff.

Hmmm...seems from the feedback that some people have had these delivered OK although this line would make me nervous:

I would imagine you could get a better deal direct from a Japanese etailer?

The DVD with 10 games on possibly features ISOs that you have to directly copy on to your memory stick for your PSP and the ISOs were probably downloaded off the internet anyway so its not legitimate or legal.

Also if you upgrade the firmware for the PSP in anyway, you won't be able to play them unless you use hacked software to downgrade again but its too much hassle especially since newer games require you to upgrade to the latest firmware before allowing you to play.

Yesterday wasn't as productive as it should've been, of the list I had, there was nothing to be seen, no Iori, no Piece of Mind and no Red Tallest, gah!!!! But I did come away with the Halo series 5 Arbiter ( yes!!!!), ML series 8 Iron Man ( been looking for this for a long time now), issues 0 , 1A and 1B of the new Street Fighter comic, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 for the PS2 and Robotech series 2 on DVD.

So all in all a good haul, pity I didn't get that Iori, they had Kyo, but I don't really like his design. The ML Iron Man is pretty damn cool, best I've seen of the Iron Men.

yea i think hes prob planning to play mostly iso games rather than UMD games on it. So he will need a 1.5. Some games are not cracked yet so wont be available on iso. but u'd never know...the wonders of technology eh? :D

Wi-Fi is easy to set-up, there's an option on the PSP to simply 'scan' the local area for wireless signals and set the up how you like.

Edit: Sorry was going to update you guys on the SOTA SF position im in (pg 71 of this thread).... Well i STILL havn't recieved the figures, although im prepared to wait a bit longer because of the extra strain over Christmas put on postage shipping companies. CornerStoreComics said they would be sending them out on Monday 12th Dec. I have sent them 2 emails asking if they got the figures out when they said they would, but i still havn't recieved an work from them since, again, maybe this is the extra work over Christmas so i'm not too concerned yet. I'll wait and see..

Why do SOTA make buying their figures from outside the US so hard?!

To be honest, I haven't had much problem with any obtaining SOTAs iteams, its just getting them at a reasonable price thats hard. I'm still waiting for Adon and Gen to show up in bargain bins somewhere. I need those before I fall behind, especially with Round 4 coming out very very soon (packaged images over at action-figure.com BTW).

Can't say that I've seen the Akuma bust, I haven't even seen the Shin Gouki one. Try going to Udons forum over at shoryuken.com, usually when a bust hits, they're first to post it up.

McF seems to be moving away from the niche market that it created and that i am interested in. The twisted stuff aint doing much for me either sadly :(

I know, and they are mostly quite cool, but it's just not the same as collecting from the MM series. I really don't want to start a new collection from scratch, it has taken too much time and money to get where I am now (even though I am considering shifting them).
I just wish that McF could see themselves clear to releasing one small series of MM's each year, that would be enough for me. Heck, I even got the TCM remake figs so I really don't mind which cheapass licences they go for ;)

I try to have some of each movies that was released. But stuff like preds or aliens I just choose one figure. Just too much and takes up too much space. I think my Alien and Pred boxset does just nicely with that cool base :D didnt really like Legend movie but love Lord of Darkness. (cant say no to big red horned demons can I? :p ) Not so excited about the likeness for bruce campbell but Evil Dead is a classic horror (and i am a horror buff (b grade or otherwise), not those really old ones though). The MM7 Leatherface was really nice IMO too. Got Bride n gogo from KB. Jack and sally and mayor from NBX. Not loving corpse bride. but might pick up corpse bride fig. :p i wanna pick up a Jaw boxset though. I hpoe they make more sharks figures :D (please dont make figures from the March of the Penguins!)

I think it's just a digitally remastered widescreen of the original. Haven't watched it much, just up to when that big man-monster thing kills all the ninja and proceeds to abuse the woman, as you do after killing a load of ninja.

Just watched all of Ninja scroll, it's really good, the fight scenes were excellent and there wasn't as much gratuitous sex scenes as I thought there'd be ( it's an 18 rated anime, therefore I expected a lot). All in all a damn fine movie and well drawn. It looks like the same chaps who animated the Street Fighter 2 movie, anyone got a for sure on this?

Another sweet Ebay vicotry for me today :) Finally got my Monsters S1 Sea Creature, along with (another) Voodoo queen, both sealed for £13 delivered.
Also got my MM King Kong from FlyingMonkey yesterday.
It's been a long time coming and it's a bit of an anti-climax now but that completes the MM line-up (other than that damn CC pred!).
Still, just bought Spawn S26 from I_rock_a_spawn so that should fill the gap in my collectors heart :)

I smell a scam, it's only costing me $28 plus $35 for shipping, which is damn cheap considering when FP sold these bad boys they went for £70 or £80, maybe a little too cheap for something like this, even the Robotech site flogs them for $99.99.

Yup, well...if you don't count 12/18" and variants that is ;) The only variants I bothered with were the Blair Witches as they were so different. Didn't have enough room, or cash, to bother with the bigguns so only kept 12" Pred and 12" Alien.
As I said though, now that I have them I don't feel the same hunger for them anymore.
I'm keeping Jaws, Kong, all Aliens and Preds, Hicks and a few other favourites. All the rest will probably hit the Bay this weekend. 99% loose with packaging though as I'm an opener.

BTW no its not that. if u go to ur paypal acc. u can see a tab "add funds" it will transfer money from your bank account into your paypal account. So that's called "cleared funds" as in money that is already in your paypal account. ;)

I am not registed as a premium member on paypal or something so I have to upgrade my account to receive uncleared payment from the bank...and theres some extra charges and stuff and I heard that upgrading it is not such a good idea as I dont really sell stuff often on ebay.

hmm if u have already verified your account when u go to add funds it should just have an option : transfer money from bank account" then u choose the bank. then thats it.

It has the option to transfer to money to a bank account but theres nothing about choosing a bank? Also it says I'm unverified on the main overview?

heh....i just broke one of the pegs on one of the severed arms with CC clown. it lets you put the bone through the hand and attatch it to the rest of the arm. well...the peg is really soft plastic, and the weight of the arm has snapped it while i was positioning it. whoops.

I did that thing where paypal call your house but when I put the pin in and hung up and then clicked continue it said I had done it wrong...got paypal is a pain. Gotta wait fo a letter to come within 4 days!!

Mail Haul, first one in a few weeks. My R3 Valkerie arrived which I pilfered off of Atriot. Funny story, it was only at the last minute that Atriot realised that it was R3 and not normal, but I wasn't too bothered, I actually prefer the R3 version, has a nice tiara. Well that's all for now, I got my student money through, £1300, but that's to last me until the summer, ish, so I won't be hauling for a while now.

I emailed her asking if it would be back on or she has found another buyer for it, but she hasn't replied yet. After i won the 2 MM figures from her i went to pay for them but she hasn't set any P&P prices yet, i emailed her about them so i could pay her asap, but she hasn't replied to that either :rolleyes:
