The Forbidden Planet in London had a couple of variants for each character in series III, I can't tell you which colours though because a) I'm not interested in repaint variants and b) I really can't remember, hahaha

That's one damn fine deal for SF round 3 and yeah my FP has just got in a few red varinats (red Adon and Balrog) which they've never had in before.

Anyway, just dropped £22 on a SF Evil Ryu Rotocast, booya!!!! So I now have a second Evil Ryu, a much bigger one than I intended. I was gonna dish out the £40-£60 for the SDCC two pack, but luckily this came up. Now I'm tempted to buy Sagat and Ryu for £10 each in FP....

Ooh ooh, Yikhai, finished Death note 3, another death note weilding person!!!! Awesome, and her Shinigami looks so so so cool.

I read Death Note a while back so I can't remember how the volumes are split, whats the final chapter in vol 3? Your getting into the good part of the beginning but it gets better, just you wait, man

Sagat and Ryu for £10? You mean the Rotocasts? I've always needed a Sagat Rotocast, got Ryu but could never get Sagat cheap enough

I think the standard cases of SF Round 3 didn't have any short-packed variants like Round 1 and 2, all variants were shipped in seperate cases

I can't remember the name of it, but the last chapter ends with a girl who also calls herself Kira cos she believes what Light is doing to be justice. Again I sat agast when they showed L and Light both in the same exam room. This is turning out to be like thee best manga I have ever read.

How have you read them so long ago, they've only just come out. But volume 4 looks to be the best so far, cos this girl has the Shinigami's eyes, so it'll be full of deaths I'm sure.

I've read the Death Note scanlations, the original japanese raw chapters scanned, then translated into english and placed on the net. I started reading it last year and currently a couple of chapters behind from the current Weekly Jump chapter.

Still no news of a Death Note anime, that'd be cool to watch Light's homicidal clever yet megalomaniacal antics

Yeah I could'nt beleive it when I saw it for £9.99. Freddy is pretty rare and there hardly ever on the bay. I snapped it up straight away when I saw it. Actually the package is in just about mint condition. I got a real deal woth this. I'm also keeping it MOC!

Can't wait for my Alien Dog bust to arrive, thay normally sell for around £90-£100 over here!! That was another great deal. Only 2,000 produced as well. :D

Good news on the ML front anyway, a trip to the In-laws today proved to be worthwhile for something as their local Woolies had Angel variant & Cyclops Variant in the sale. Just need the first appearance Spidey now and I get some serious 'dad points' :)
The only drawback is that Cyclops has two left legs!!! (the feet are correct though).
The kid hasn't noticed yet so I'm keeping quiet but it's not a good show for ToyBiz' quality control!

Speaking of which, when I saw Spidey in the shop (wish I had of got him then as he was gone the next day) he had a big black splodge on his chest, next to the spider insignia. On close inspection it could have been '1#' but it also could have just been a nasty paint error... anyon else seen this?

I can't say that I'm overly fond of that Cyclops, has major reuse of previous parts and the I don't like the glossy paint much, so he's in the back. I was hoping that ML10's Cyclops would have been a new updated Astonishing X-Men version when it was first announced. I have the X-Men Classics Cyclops (Jim Lee) as the main Cyclops but it pretty much takes the nickname "Slim" too seriously.

First Appearance Spider-man shouldn't have any black thingy near the insignia. Its probably just a bad one. I had trouble finding Spider-man at first because every kid wants him and not the Sentinel part. Ended up getting it at Forbidden Planet

My dad has procured it for $100, and it's got like $26 on postage, so it should hopefully get here within a few weeks. But still, I may finally have my highest order of Grail!!!

Finally get to have a Martian Manhunter without shelling jack loads for the original DC Firect release. The new Killer Croc is awesome btw in terms of new head and paint scheme. The quality of the figure is a good standard, especially for Mattel. Anybody else get the DC Superheroes line?

DOn't mean to, I think it's great that we can provide a safe and stable life for those that want to make a home here but only if they're prepared to work and pay taxes, if not they should be deported immediately. Sweet Zombie Jesus!!!, I just saw S29, and by the metal gods does it rocketh. Spawn 9 is a bit....well if he had a decent gauntlet he'd be the roxor, but he doesn't. Zera looks hot, Thamuz nastyily good. I'll be buying these 3 for sure, the others, maybe not, all the same pose when you look at them, and I've never been big on all these ninja/pirate/raven sapwn things. Except medieval, he was excellent. But woohoo, S29 bring it on, I can't wait, makes S28 look like a hazy dream now:D

Who's art work are they based on though, by Todd? cos I remember there being several threads when issue 150 (or whatever) came out about Spawn's "new look", which I think looks good, but nowhere near as good as the spawn we all know and love. I smell a custom spawn 9 in the making, with a cheap Spawn V to hand to supply the boot and glove I'll have spawn back in his proper costume, but in that oh so badass pose.

I'm so freakin' hyped over new toys, it's great!!!!

Impulse haualge of impending doom!!! I stumbled across the Samurai Wars 2 pack, with Takeda and Samurai Spawn. Saw it a while back but passed on it, then I started playing Samurai Warriors and then hunt began. As I said, twas an impulse buy, but I'm glad I got it. Both Takeda and Spawn rock, and I love how the bow actually has a thread on it, (well fishing wire or something). Good paint apps, awesome articulation and this Spawn has the special back banner and a cooler than cool mask to cover his commy burnt face (that always put me off buying Samurai Spawn).

Cost me £17.99, which is okay, retail was like £25 ish. Very glad I picked this up, really loving these toys, Samurai and Viking series are looking to be the best McF have ever done, they had great sculpts, paint apps, designs and articulation, they really should try to recreate such masterpieces in current lines.

Combine this with my Vash which came this morning, today has been a very good day for haulages.

I saw those Star Wars Transformers at FP London on Thursday but I don't recall the price. Possibly because I was laughing at how ridiculous the Obi Wan looked transformed. It looked like it had the hairstyle of Mr. T but ginger...hahaha. The Darth Vader Transformer looks pretty cool though, for a Lucas cash-in commodity

Now, my bargain haul of the day: ML II Human Torch for £3.99. Not bad for a figure released in the early days. You can really tell its old as because the articulation is fairly limited compared to the new stuff, good stuff nonetheless

Newer MLs have too much articulation. But some of the older ones don't have some that you'd expect, like Deadpool, his hands don't rotate, which I just find to be very very weird when there's like 4 pieces of articulation per shoulder. I'm hoping Baron Zemo turns out well, I intend to buy him.

Mail and comic haulages!!! I picked up the new compilation of Spawn, has issues 1-12 in it, and my Evil Ryu rotocast came in the mail, tis a cool piece, nice addition to my SF collection. But, for the Spawn comics, are these supposed to be just the originals but reprinted? cos early on, when Spawn first fights Violator he does pretty well, but I always though Violator well, violated spawn when they first met.

I'll have to go find out when volume 2 comes out. I'm not gonna buy any new issues cos I picked up the latest one and had no idea what was going on. Spawn was this little rotting corpse and was like a white guy before he died, it was really weird. if it's 12 issues per book, then it won't be long till the new costume comes into it (I think).

yeah, i've got a pretty huge gap there.......nothing between 83 and 121.....haven't read any of the ones i have properly yet.....i'll wait until i've got a decent run and then start. plus i want to start from the beginning and i don't have #1-4 yet. :D

Love the Talisac, anyhting by Barker is gonna be good in my mind, especially figs!
I've only got the Agonistes and can't be doing with collecting the whole set. Have had most of them loose in the past but always moved them on.

Phew... good to be back. Haven't been able to load the site since Thursday.... was starting to get withdrawal symptoms!

Got a nice deal on Ebay yesterday, Alien refresh (last McF alien I needed to complete the collection), Battle Alien, Grid Alien (got 2 of these already but useful trade fodder), Falling Trinity, car park Neo (not into Matrix figs but should be able to trade them on?) and a sealed KISS fig (may be a useful pressie for someone). Only wanted the refresh alien really but all 6 set me back £21 DLVD so couldn't resist. The same seller also has MIP Scar and Celtic for £21 DLVD which is a retty good price, about a fiver off of the best I could find anyway.

I GOT ONE!!!! Not my Urizen, hasn't arrived yet, but Cloud on Fenrir, I got one!!!

Firstly, last night was a lot of fun, me and my mate Jon sang some Iron Maiden songs at the Kareoke, twas excellent, got a very good reaction. I crashed at my other friend's student dorm, but not before eating a "scooby snack". Okay, take a burger, then a potatoe scone, thena square sausage, then another potatoe scone, then a fried egg and put it all in a roll, it's heartstoppingly amazing!!!

Anyway, so i walking up to get a taxi last night I spot the Cloud figure in G-Force's window, so this morning on my way home I quickly pick it up. it's so so so so so so so so cool, well worth the £50. The bike itself is freakin' amazing.

Got She Spawn 2 repaint, Sin City Wendy and Raven Spawn 2 from a US boardie. Also received a loose 'Killers' Eddie. Not sure I'll keep him TBH, he looks cool and all but really not into music figs and he just doesn't warrant my shelf-space (which is at an all time high premium!!!)

was that all:rolleyes: well I've started work on making the S28 Urizen a stand alone toy, ripped the necro blast off, already green stuffed it, just waiting for it to dry, then I'll paint it. BUT, I'm gonna paint it more like the CC Urizen, so there'll be some light grey highlights on it, rather than all black or subtle grey ones. Need to do some work on the eyes aswell, just some small yellow/green highlights should do it. Updatage..painted my urizen, (I paint very fast, and it still looks good!) and have decided what to do for the base. Buildings, like the ones on the CC Urizen base, it'll hopefully look good if i get the scale right (using CC for reference). And good news from ebay, my Veritech should be sent out on monday, and he says 3-5 days for shipping, so I'll hopefully get it friday or saturday, maybe even thursday if I'm lucky.

.....R3 is fething awesome it totally owns standard skully and bloodaxe, infact most of (not all, normal Spawn V beats R3 SV hands down) are extremely cool, far better than their regular counterparts. So I'll be getting some post hauls soon then, my VF-1J and now this, I love getting stuff through the post.

What:eek: you gotta be kidding us, no way, you have to have been to an FP before, that's just insane if you haven't. I go there on average.....4 times a week, maybe 5, (I don't really buy anything, just absorb the toy goodness). Move house, to somewhere where this is one, then you can get annoyed with how some staff seem to have no knowledge whatsoever of toys. I so want a job at FP, I'd love that so much, it'd be freakin; excellent, but they are damn hard to get.

But, i actually met another figure collector yesterday in the most unlikely place...MY HOUSE?! Well, i have been with NTL broadband for ages now and my old modem couldn't handle the new 10mb speed upgrade, so NTL sent out an engineer to replace the modem. The modem is in my bedroom so the guy comes in and said "Wow, quite a few figures you have here mate. Like McFarlane stuff do you?". I was like " :eek: :eek: " . A 2 minute job to swap the modem lasted about 10 minutes just talking about figures. He said he has quite a few himself, mostly Star Wars, but collects some film license stuff aswel like TCM, Matrix figures etc... Was kind of cool :cool:

Cool!!! I've never met another collector except the guy who owns the Dream, but it'd be good to meet some in person, see what they got. The family next door, their son has some of the 18" horror pops, like the Crow and Freddy and stuff, but he's just a big movie fan, not a collector, so not worth my time.

When we have some spare time at university, me and my friends go into town. At first they use to come to to Forbidden Planet with me, but never buy anything. Now they just go to other shops while i go in :( I just wish at least one of them collected figures so i could have someone to talk to about them. Gotta say again, R3 Bloodaxe freakin' rocks, ten thousand times better than I expected. So that's me got R3 Skully, Bloodaxe and Valkerie (courtesy of atriot from a while back), BUT!!!
