had to resort to ebay for them.....they crop up on there quite a bit.....if i remember correctly i paid about £15 for blair monster and about £10 for norris (my first mcfarlane figure)

well, it was the most impressive US shipping i've experienced. took about 3 weeks to get my street fighter figures from sota, and about the same for a couple of figures i got off ebay.....

i think HB 1.5 has been and gone.....abe has been warming pegs for a couple of weeks here now.

as for SF2? who knows......thought they would have arrived by now, but there are none to be found anywhere.

S27 should be here soon.....if it's out in the US, then there won't be long to wait.

You have them sent by surface post? I never have anything sent by surface - too much of a risk of it getting lost - takes almost 2 months anyway.

surface is really bad, especially if you want anything shipped from say, asia or america. i can't remember what i ordered surface mail but it took a month and a bit. only do it if u don't care how long it takes, with me i'm usually impatient and i even think airmail is sometimes slow...

i'm looking out for Sandman not sure if i want another Spider-man clone even if it is superpossable i'm happy with my 18" superpossable and the Spidy from the Sinister Six box set.
I think Scorpon is series 11 so we are not that far behind hopefully in the next few months we will see them.

the uk versions are fairly different in number compared to the us ones but i think fp international have special cases of villians (sandman isn't one of them though). so if you wanted any older villans....

i got evil ryu via eBay, imported from US which is probably why its taking so long, i couldn't find it cheap so i just paid what i had to, seeing as they are less and less on eBay and sota/southern island charge alot for shipping, i opted for any evil ryu under £20 inc shipping

KITCH, cool haul, did u get gogo yubari cheap?? don't worry about the other figures, you could email them and see if they are completely out of stock or i'm sure u'll be able to get em cheaper elsewhere. eBay's a good place to look.

i got the NARUTO trading figures - special set which i got off eBay for < £20 which is approx. £2 per figure, which is pretty good. also i got kaiyodo VASH THE STAMPEDE which i've been waiting to get for a long time after getting wolfwood last year. i went to FP london to check for sfII but still no sign and saw that the guy was pricing up the new Buffy/Angel figures, which i've been a fan of since series I by MAC, so i picked up SPIKE (i have 2 variants on the way via post from fpi which i should get next week). this week i also got AILE STRIKE GUNDAM MG 1/100, which is already built and kicking major *** on mid flight base, check it out

well i went to forbidden planet london today at 1500 at they were just pricing them up so i would say about 3 hours. its from the latest buffy/angel line by diamond select (RIP MAC) with tons (and i mean TONS) of variants. there's a couple of darlas out as well. i'll probably just end up with the regular and vampire version. i'm glad diamond select took over the license, at least we're getting some figures, hehe

and wow sounds like you ahve your toy buying all plannned out. which is a good thing. I geuss I misunderstood what u were saying. For me i usually feel guilty after buying a lot of stuff. then i tell myself that i wont buy anymore. then i see another good deal...and i jump on it. and it goes on and on...well...doesnt say much for my discipline when it comes to plastics eh? :p

I motivated myself to go today and was glad i did. I finally got MM7 Robocop and couldn't stop myself from an impulse buy...A while ago i seen this Palisades Triumphant Predator statue, he's kneeling on the corner of a building, it was cool but a bit expensive - £99. But today they had a smaller version in stock today, first time i've seen one, so had to buy it - £39.99.

the packaging is slightly different to the US versions (what the hell is mega blast) but the figures are essentially the same. i had to go to the camden town one because my local in kent didn't have squat, i think i cleared em out of sp spidey. anyway, i did see a scorpion but no ultimate rhinos so it may just be series 11 and 12.

Hey guys, havn't posted in a bit but Iv'e picked up some new things. I got a Ryu and Sagat from FP through the mail and I'm still waiting on 2 spawn figures from series 27 and Ms Cenobite...

Oh yeah, another thing...when my Ryu arrived it was the gray variant version?! On the website it is the white one an thats waht I was expecting. I might sound picky but I wanted the white one becasue its got more authenticity to the actual games. I'm thinking about sending them an email to see if I can swap it by sending it back.
It just seems like false advertising to me though, It doesn't say anywhere on the description that you will get the gray version. Even the picture is the white version. :mad:

Also went to The Last Picture Show In Meadowhall the other day and they had quite an impressive collection. The had ALL SF Round 2, Nearly all Round 1, Some Kill Bill figures and alot of the older Movie Manics...I was gonna get some so I asked the person behind the counter what time they closed and he said 9pm. So I went for a walk and bought some stuff and game back at 8:35..expecting it to be open. As I was walking In he stopped me and said that they were closed with the biggest grin on his face. I mean whats the point!? He did it on purpose...pr ick.

i wouldn't call it false advertising, they just fill orders as they come in. fp international are one of the few places that doesn't seperately charge for chase figures. but i do see ur point KITCH, i would rather have a white and red ryu then the champion edition variant. i'm not sure about it costing more now but when it first came out, it was definately highly sort after. check on eBay how much someone might be willing to pay. having said that, fp international are known to find marvel legend chases but continue to provide a lucky person the chase as their order, which is kinda cool imo

i still need a robocop movie maniac. i had a check in fp london, and they have quite a few. they are opposite information point where all the movie manaics are now if anyone is interested in it. price £14.99

They had quite a collection of MM, they had all series 7, all the preds form series 6 and loads of the old ones like the Crow and some of MM3. They even had an Ash (which I can't believe that I passed up on... :(

yeah been snowing in kent past two days, on and off, there was a weird period at 1500 on both days where it just snowed for about a minute or two. same thing happened on saturday. had a gd drive through the woods this morning, a nice completely white scene

Clone Wars Season III (or 2 depending on how you defined the first 20 episodes) is on toonami at 4pm from tomorrow onwards. its supposed to be longerin length from the 3 minutes we were used to, i think as long as episode XX, around 12 minutes each. out of all the expanded universe, the toon is the best IMO, although i'm no star wars expert (i hate the dark horse comics, period, though)

family guy series 2. they had meg and two mutant stewies.....i need mutant stewie but he was priced at £14.99. i can get that figure on ebay cheaper including delivery......what makes it worse is that meg was only £9.99......

sideshow new nightmare freddy and the robert englund freddy.....£29.99 each. hadn't seen these before.

now playing.....had a good look at these. picked up the nightmare demon wolf head/knife variant for £9.99.....but, get this, they also had the supposed exclusive darkman w/third head and nightmare demon w/mohawk head......£15.99 each.....suppose those that don't want to order them online can get to forbidden planet and pick these up if they like. i asked, and they are also probably gonna get the exclusive toxie in at some point as well.....although sometimes the FP guys talk rubbish. :D

they were putting out a lot of older stuff as well......MM2 bride of chucky, giger, 18" hellboy and jason....they also had a load of neca boxed sets (halloween, freddy vs jason, the crow)

family guy series 2. they had meg and two mutant stewies.....i need mutant stewie but he was priced at £14.99. i can get that figure on ebay cheaper including delivery......what makes it worse is that meg was only £9.99......

sideshow new nightmare freddy and the robert englund freddy.....£29.99 each. hadn't seen these before.

now playing.....had a good look at these. picked up the nightmare demon wolf head/knife variant for £9.99.....but, get this, they also had the supposed exclusive darkman w/third head and nightmare demon w/mohawk head......£15.99 each.....suppose those that don't want to order them online can get to forbidden planet and pick these up if they like. i asked, and they are also probably gonna get the exclusive toxie in at some point as well.....although sometimes the FP guys talk rubbish. :D

they were putting out a lot of older stuff as well......MM2 bride of chucky, giger, 18" hellboy and jason....they also had a load of neca boxed sets (halloween, freddy vs jason, the crow)

anyway....as well as the nightmare demon i picked up an 18" pinhead.

hey guys, hope you have all been busy buying the coolest figures, i know i have and my hauls have been pretty expensive as of late, this one is no exception :D

as you guys may or may not know, i'm a big fan of anime and mainly into anime trading figures and small gashapon are my weakspot. however, when i saw these online, i couldn't resist. if anyone of you have watches BLEACH, u'll understand why. here we have two large PVC statues of the two main characters, kurosaki ichigo (male figure) and kuchki rukia (female figure). these things are great, accurately sculpted and sturdy as hell. i got ichigo a couple of weeks ago but only got rukia yesterday. each were £29.99 which was a major hit to my wallet but while checking eBay, at £40 w/o shipping from asia (which'll probably have drawn me back another £10-£20), i think i got the better deal. ichigo is 9 inches, rukia is 7 inches with a 2.5 inch "kon" figure

the second part of my haul is kinda cool. as today is end of term and usually a doss day, i was supposed to be meeting friends outside the regents street "apple" shop. knowing that i'm always the punctual one and that they usually turn up 30 mins late, i crossed the road and went to Hamleys and immediately went to the 5th floor (action figures floor). i hadn't been there for a while and wasn't expecting much but, hehe, i found the Mattel "Bat Signal Batman" , a figure i thought i'd never see. for a deluxe figure its pretty sweet, the bat signal accessory is very cool and the articulation is what zipline batman should have had. unfortunately, the leg ariculation is still limited (no ball jointed hips) so its not the marvel legends style batman i was hoping for. none the less, i found it and i just need to find a good pose...

got my now playing exclusives today.... i have to say, the pictures don't do the translucent toxie justice, he looks great. and the mohawk head demon looks really good as well. just need to find a helmet head/knife demon and then my now playing series 1 is complete (don't want the exclusive darkman). also missed a parcel today, and i'm only expecting ML9 and my two S27 figs......can't wait to find out what wonders await me at the sorting office. :D

sweet haul graham, i'm changing my mind about now playing and might get toxic avenger. though i've never seen the movie, i remember the toxic crusaders saturday morning cartoon and how i can't find my old toxie figure anymore :(

the batman figure seems to be the four horsemen's original sculpt. the zipline batman one was slightly modified but this one resembles their 2-up nicely. if theres one thing to say about this figure, its the damn legs. i really wish mattel had applied some sort of ball jointed hips. the number of poses really is limited...

the packaging sucks....but it doesn't bother me as i open them all anyway. i just throw them away. :D

no pics.....but if you head over to their site they're pretty easy to find. :D

the articulation is basic on these figures. ball jointed head and shoulders, cut-joints at the elbows and waist, basic wrist joints and ankle joints.....no articulation in the legs. nowhere near as articulated as street fighter, but then for this line it's all about the sculpt.

there are 5 variants of this figure....the bald head is the standard, plus you get an extra head and a weapon.

hey thejikas, nice to c u frequenting the uk thread, that batman is indeed £8.99 in the uk, at the largest toy shop in europe no less. when i was there, they only had about three/four but had quite alot of armor attack batman (the other sp batman, in blue). i'll probably go there again next sunday to pick it up. i would have thought malaysia had these by now...

so any londeners decided if they'll go to the national collectors mart next sunday, at royal national hotel, bedford way, london?? i'm definately going. i was planning to go to memorbillia, nec birmingham but the price to get to birmingham return is ridiculous. anyone been??
