I've explored a few options with #47 as that's the atomic number for silver but have come up with nothing. I'm starting to wonder if those underscores are more significant than I originally thought.

Lets hope they aren't making the same mistake Mattel did with their Avatar: The Last Airbender line by excluding all the female characters. I mean, Alice's armor would look no different than Douglas and Jerome, so why would they replace her with another Chief?

Let's not forget, we don't really know what it means. Part of the hint points to John, the other part is close to Jerome and could be Jerome, but it could also points to Douglas.

So we don't know how that one will pan out or if we're reading the clue correctly

dude i think they have to be important. otherwise, there wouldnt be one at the end of the clue too. i think they serve as blanks, not just as a "space"

the whole jerome/douglas thing... i wouldnt be surprised if thats their way of saying variants, since the only change they would have to do would be to take off the red chest stripe, no?

ive been going nuts over the 9 78-142 310 2779 thing. it looks like one of 2 things to me, being either a numerical series, or a catalog. something like chapter, lines, page, year... but i dont know, the 2779 doesnt work for a year, even in halo's timeline.

keep thinking guys.

2779 doesn't work in Halo's time-line, because it was in Marathon's time-line.

Since there is armor in Marathon called Mark IV (4), we could be seeing the pre-cursor to Mark V armor in Halo 1. Halo Reach armor anyone?

Spartans from Reach? Not this early. Not even Bungie has released full pictures of the characters. (Excluding the shadowed trailer one, but that doesn't count)

If it runs the price up by $20 bucks, no thank you. I'll mod lights into a normal one myself before paying inflated prices for a feature that in reality probably only costs $6 or $7 bucks for McF to insert into the final product.

I'm not talking $50 or anything, I just say drop the exclusive figure and put in some cool light features. $20 seems reasonable for that to me.

That's not how things work. If you drop a figure, then you're losing the sales of that figure. That doesn't give you any extra budget, in fact it might actually take some away.
