Default Do you have netflix streaming, can you find a semi decent movie on it?

I spend about 2 hours last night searching for a decent movie, dont get me wrong they have some classics (from 20+ years ago) but finding a newer decent movie is really hard to find.

I think i would have better luck on late night TBS or something.

Do you have netflix? have you found any good movies to stream?

its hit or miss for me sometimes I sometimes not depends on the movie genre I'm feeling. Most of the streaming movies I've already seen.

that's how they make their money. They promote the feature without telling you that newer releases will not be available because they want you to take as long as possible with movies to maximize their profits by getting you to stay a month or two longer than if they streamed all movies...

Actually, the Starz movies tend to be newer releases. The content will get better as more and more devices support it, personally, I love the service and while I may not watch it all the time, I love that I can watch a movie on my 360, then switch to my computer, etc.

There's plenty of great titles to find, but there's more crappy/average movies to dig through until you find them. Stuff comes and goes though. Most titles I select seem to loose their instant watch capabilities after a few months.

This is probably determined by the studio that produced the movie and not by Netflix. I have 89 movies in my instant queue. I know I'm not going to get around to seeing them all but most can be seen on SyFy network.

you can find decent or newer movies, but I use it mostly to catch up on TV shows. For example, Seasons 1-4 of Lost, 1&2 of Dexter, 1 of Californication... all available instantly.

Are these in HD? I'm interested in watching 30 Rock and some other shows, but I'm a bit of an HD snob, and they are only out on DVD not Blu-ray.
