I never liked Pedro but I respect the hell out of him he is no doubt one of the best pitcher I will ever see. Kinda sad to see him go out like this because you and I know he is so much better.

I've never had a problem with him other than his obsession with throwing down fat old people.

Damn Andy what could have been if you didnt follow steroid boy to Houston. Easily the best lefty if not best pitcher in a Yankees uniform and more than likely be closing in on 300 wins.

Living in Mass had something to do with it for me. I see alot more Sox game than Yankees. Also cant appreciate a pitcher telling someone he is going to throw at there head. But at the same time i love the fact that he said if he face The Bambino he said he would put him on his ass haha.

Only a Yankee fan could hate a moment that awesome, if Mickey Rooney was charging at you, you would do the same thing.

The only reason I didn't have a problem with that is because there are plenty of people who throw at batters to establish a zone. Martinez just doesn't have a filter for what he says, and I know there are people who are far worse with doing that.

In the meantime, nice leadoff it by DJ.

Calf strain, basically the same thing he had problems with at the beginning of the season.

RBI single by TEX!

Came closer to that ball than Ibanez would have. Last few times I watch Ibanez run it looks like he was swimming. He has a torn abdomen correct?

Groin.

His groin stopped him for the better part of a month. Manuel tried to give him rest when possible, but he hasn't been the same since it happened and now he's just gonna man it up until the offseason.

I have no problem with pitchers who throw inside to establish a zone but dont tell someone you are going to throw at there head. Im sure it was a mental game trying to make them feel worried but that is just something you dont F around with.

Well the good news was that Durbin didn't last all that long, I figured he would give us the most grief.

Thanks for the correction

More power to him. He had one hell of a season and I hope he gets paid for it. He can put these type of numbers up in the right lineup. It sucks that he was stuck on a sucky Seattle team for a few years.

The NL was lucky that he pulled his groin, he was posting sick numbers before he pulled it. The guy could have had a monster season like Carlos Delgado did the year he had 90 RBI's by the All-Star Break.
