Morning Bigguns!!!!!

What I cant stand about baseball is teams like NY and Boston, who spend a TON more than any other team (the Yanks have about 3 times the payroll Toronto does).........of course they stand a better chance at winning the World Series.

Baseball NEEDS a salary cap, and until they have one, I will continue to be Jays fan who stands little to no hope of making it to the playoffs, let alone winning the WS again.

I know what you mean Cal. I was super happy to see the Brewers make the playoffs last year and I will hang my hat on that. I love the team and will love them forever, but I too feel baseball needs salary cap, but even if they get one the Yanks will continue to spend more and just pay a fine, so it is helpful but not always affective.

spending alot of money does not guarantee you a world series title. the cubs have spending alot for a while now and it has got them nowhere!! i do agree MLB needs a salary cap though. every fan would love to have an owner like steinbrenner, the team makes a butt load of money, and he puts it right back in the team.

I agree, but everyone having the same limit would be fair.

I would love it if the Brewers had an owner like George.

Oh and you can answer this question Ronnie.

I have a custom all pieced out for a 6". The only thing is is that the guy that I am doing wears one of the newer Revo helmets. I hve a facemask that is the same that he wears, but I just wondered if it would be crazy to make it using the old style helmet, but with the correct mask?

I know it is silly, but I wanna know.

it would be fair, but the teams would still have to pay for players. do you think the padres or royals would spend the maximum amount? also, i think the players would rather play for the yanks over any other team, so the yanks would still draw the bigger name players.

so, you're going to use a revo facemask for a regular helmet? don't all of the revo helmets have the same mask? maybe use a helmet from a manning or gates figure.

baseball needs a salary cap to keep the interest of the young people in places like pittsburgh, kansas city, baltimore, etc. If your team only makes it to the playoffs once every 20 years, (with the situation getting worse) there's nothing to keep you tied to the team.

I will say one thing about baseball............at least their tickets (in most stadiums) have stayed cost effective. You can afford to take your family to a day at the ball diamond.

You cant always afford to take your family to a day of football or hockey.

Ian,

The revo facemasks usually don't fit the regular helmets very well. I have a Kendrell Bell revo helmet I can send you if that will help you. LMK.
