this season of the ultimate fighter has been a big let down, but rampage is still damn funny. i mean the stuff he's done to ******* is just wrong and hilarious at the same time. what frustrates me is how much this season wouldve done to the lead up for the evans rampage fight and it sucks that we may not see this fight happen. i mean these two guys do not like each other and it wouldve been nice to see them finally throw down

and here's a little somethig for you guys with the mention of bloodsport earlier

There's a clip going around of tryouts for tuf11 & there's a capoeira dude that's doing all these funky videogame moves.....don't know if he'll make it or if he's good at all, but if Zuffa wants flash & attention -- this guy needs to be there next year.

Ok so Lesnar ducks out on Carwin yet again and has cancelled the re-scheduled fight get this because he has Mono. lol

Quote:
yahoo.com is reporting that Brock Lesnar has postponed his UFC fight against Shane Carwin yet again, and this time it's being reported that he has been diagnosed with mononucleosis. On whether or not Shane Carwin will fight in the meantime, UFC President Dana White said "we're still trying to figure it out and I'm really not sure where any of it stands right now." White noted that Lesnar will not be able to begin training for the fight until December.

you got Big Nog and Cain going at it. why not have Carwin face Mir. then the winner of those 2 fights, fight each other.

I'm not a Lesnar fan either, but I respect his abilities and how he fights. But there will always be haters of fighters, especially champions.

its not just that, but it seems like if people have a background that is not strictly in the field they are pursuing, it seems people hate them as "posers" or that they are not legit. Such as Rogan doing Fear Factor stuff, and Lesnar coming in from WWE.
But not just MMA , pretty much anytime someone moves to a different field. Look how long it took The Rock to move to film and be accepted.

Well since Mono is most commonly contracted through Saliva which is why it's called the kissing disease either he's been stepping out on his wife or she been stepping out on him. Yeah I find it funny.

Can't wait for Saturday night:
I got Fedor (1st rnd tko), Mousasi (1st rnd sub), Bigfoot (decision). I can't decide between Miller & Shields....Miller is awesome when it comes to getting out of subs & I can't see Shields stand-up to be a factor at all?!? Ok, I'm leaning Shields winning a decision based on the gazillion sub attempts that he didn't finish. But, ultimately it's Miller that comes out the winner no matter what the outcome is based on his awesome entrance......cue the lava, lava music.

I don't see Fedor knocking him out, I see him submitting him of course like usual Fedor fashion.

I'm a Brock hater, but i respect his abilities. I think he was given a title shot to early, considering his loss to Mir.

Who else was there though? UFC is all about the $$$$..I am kinda surprised..I figured they would have treated him a like a Cheick Kongo. Put him against scrubs.

agreed, doesn't look like a card with any possible upsets.

Rogers and Sokoudjou are the kings of upset. If their "magic" happen it would be a nightmare for me.
Werdum vs Silva is hard to predict. Werdum is not Nogueira, Silva could really gives him trouble.

Ummm. Mayhem is almost a 3-1 underdog so him winning like you said would be a pretty big upset. Werdum/Silva is close to a pickem fight.

I'm going with Mayhem at 3/1 odds as well. Shields should win but the odds are pretty good for Mayhem.

I also bet on "The Grim" to smash Fedor's jaw to pieces at 6/1 yesterday.........although its nothing more than an arb because I got Fedor -400 weeks ago. Rooting for The Grim though because it would be a crazy upset to witness..it would shut up all the Fedor nut huggers...and my fav Brock Lesnar would become the #1 HW in the sport.

hate to disagree, but Sokoudjou was the king of the upset in Pride. Since then he's shown nothing, except having a lack of motivation and no heart. He's 3-3 in his last 6 fights and his victories have been against sub par competition (Sapp, Nortje, Nakamura) He was soundly defeated by Babalu, who was destroyed by Mousasi. I expect Mousasi to do the same to Sokoudjou.

I doubt Rogers will be able to do much to Fedor. Strikeforce & Showtime are hyping this up as being a competitive fight, but if Fedor shows up motivated and ready to fight, Rogers won't last long.

Honestly, I hope these are all very competitive fights and they put on a good show, but this card also has the possibility of showing us 4 one sided wins by the favourites.

Yeah, I can see that happening as well. However, the reason why that's prob not gonna happen is Brett's team is gonna drill takedown defense & to use his size as leverage + when Rogers swings for the fence he actually leaves himself open for someone as crisp & fast of a puncher as Fedor.

Oh yeah, i just wanted to say that Sokou and Rogers surprised us in the past, Its enough for me to be careful. They are strong, they can win. Everyone see them as the ultimate underdogs so maybe the "magic" will happen.

Talking

Favorite mma quote of the week belongs to Chael Sonnen describing the Fedor/Rogers match:
"Two fatties swinging like bums. Yawn, stretch, back to sleep."

Yeah, I know he should be the last person who can talk + imo he sux......but I gotta give him props for being so funny.

My Picks:
Grim Over Fedor... Wishful thinking is an understatement and thensome.
Shields Over Mayhem
Mousasi Over The Affrican Assasin
Werdum Over Silva

It said it was actual gameplay, but since it's EA Sports, I doubt it.

WTH, why are they not showing the fighter entrances? C'mon we wanna see Mayhem's entrance -- btw, where's the meat puppets?

Edit: That's better....gotta love Mayhem.

Hmmmm...while Cung Le is overrated, he will be fighting against a man whose neck turns about as fast as my 89 year old grandmother.

Smith has quite possibly the WORST head movement I've seen this side of a tree.

Cung Le by 1st round TKO.

In which 'Cung Le is the greatest in the world' will be the words coming out of his testicle grabbing fans' mouths.
