Really, really, really good...an alternate universe? BRILLIANT!...honored the ST that the diehards know and manged to produce a way to make the movies into anything they want...it's an ALTERNATE ****ING UNIVERSE FOR ****'S SAKE!!!...rent it, watch it, buy it, love it in a biblical fasion cuz we'll never know WE'RE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF A ****ING COMPUTER!!!

I really liked it also. If it had not been for District 9 it would have been my favorite movie of the summer. I just don't get the people picking on it. The cast was awesome (which is where this was make or break for me.) The story was smart and witty but did not bog itself down in trying to be over scientific and nerdy which has always been a problem with much of Trek for me. Full of action and never has a borring moment.
