Does anyone remember as fondly as I do the days when there was one set to get? I miss the days when you opens pack after pack to find your player, or do the ol' Need im got im trade ya. Maybe that's too far back. But I still have my Upper Deck hockey, first three years from 90 til 92-93, and flip through that album with great memories.

yeah that's why I only collect Iginla cards. There are WAY too many sets these days and packs are crazy priced, especially when you only get like 5 or 7 cards in a pack.

By the way, I don't think we should have had to switch to a new thread. Everything we talked about was about cards. Now there are 2 threads we'll need to check so it kinda sucks.

Last time I bought some BAP Ultimate was 01/02. I got three packs for $40 each from JW's in Dallas Only got that deal though because my buddy up there is pretty tight with the guys that work the hockey section and it was the last three they had so they wanted to move them out. Good pickups to because the last pack I busted had a Sakic In the Numbers 6/10

Gratzi! Saw a nice red swatch Ice Authentics Iginla auto/jersey there! Almost bought it! He had a white swatch Naslund, too! Bought another Heatley auto for $15 (Honour Roll Signature Class) The Ultimate Memoribillia packs were going for $140 Canadian. ($125 my price) I may try a pack, not sure yet!

Postman finally brought my SPA Matt Stajan auto/rookie today!

Not too sure as he told me a bunch of prices all at once but either $30 or $40 I think! The Naslund was less, I know that! Ican check next Tuesday if it is still there! Love that red swatch!

I like the Ice Authentics the best, but not a huge fan of Luongo's auto! Kinda cheesy IMO! The Biron is real nice! Still rather have an Eddie!

I'm just collecting Kovalchuk for now... going to pick up the Lehtonen Prmier RC when I have extra fundage... butright now all my money is being saved for that 04 BAP Ultimate Kovalchuk COmplete JErsey card...

Good thing one of my hockey card industry contacts got me the Kovalchuk/Nash Allstar net card... save me a couple bucks

I was a hardcore hockey card collector for a very long time....then last September my financial situation changed so I was forced to choose one hobby over the other - and I decided to go with hockey SPs as my only hobby going forward. As a result I ended up selling nearly my entire collection by the new year. All I have left are a couple of jersey cards and 2 sets from the early 90s (90-91 OPC Premiere and 90-91 Upper Deck).....

HOWEVER - today a box of 03-04 Pacific Luxury Suite is arriving at my door. I'm not getting back into the card thing and I cannot decide what I want to do with this box.....should I open it & sell the cards? Should I not open the box and sell it unopened? I got this box through an SP trade, as the guy on the other end of the trade didn't have any hockey SPs that I needed.

Anyone here collecting 03-04 Pacific Luxury Suite? suggestions?
