*LOL* I love how all these odd ones pop up. You've got some heavies, and then Starship and Debbie Gibson Always cracks me up.

I just went from Dillinger Escape Plan with Patton to Marty Casey and the Lovehammers 'Trees'

I am actaully more ashamed of Limp Bizket than I am by Debbie Gibson being in my mp3 vault.

odd surprise there!

i like that song.

oh....girls and distorted cellos....thats hot...can't remember if they used a distortion in that song, but they have some cool ****. Melora has a fantastic voice, she has an odd vibrato, very strange, very good.

My personal favorite of theirs is the weathered mix of Olde Headboard. I wish they;d done a full version in the brooklyn accent....

(about the middle of the song there's a bit with it)

no biafra kicks ass, just the way it was recorded, very low budget sounding. Never got into it really, i'm not big on bands in that era that had bad recodings, like the sex pistols or the Ramones. I guess you could say production value.

i dunno, sometimes I think a bad production value can give certain releases a special quality that makes them that much more raw.

sometimes its just garbled noise though.

i never thought the old DK recordings were that bad though.
