I'm in an electro/techno outfit called "The Japanese Popstars"! If you like The Chemical Bros, Tiesto, Underworld etc you should like what we do

We are DJs, producers and a live act

I used to sing for a band called Stitch back about 10 years ago... now I write music under the name VanChimera... kinda like laid back electronica.... maybe leaning towards futuristic movie soundtracks.

I was in a band once. It was awesome. I was the drummer. I sucked, but I had potential. We lasted six rehersals, actually played for maybe five minutes of them, smoked lots of dope and then broke up when we started arguing over whether to be named Hershey Highway or Ass Jammers. I'm not making those names up either, those were the two most popular names. We realized in one of our few moments of clarity that both names would be great for homosexual pornos, and then the music was over.

Controlled Substance.
Horrible stuff. Mixture of metal and blues and whatever the hell we wanted to/could play. Only gigs we ever had were upstairs in a kicker bar and a few parties we threw.
Our drummer never played or even had a kit the first couple months of "practice". He did actually pick it up pretty quickly.
Fond memories, terrible reality *LOL*

My buddy Keith was working with me to fit into his group 665 a few years after that. It was around then that I just gave up on dreams of being in a band and quit playing.
