My new HOT TOYS custom predator (other pics of my HT preds aswell)

hey all

heres my newest hot toys preedator custom 'GORT' predator from the final scenes of predator 2.

ive been wanting to make one of the 'lost hunters' for awhile and im really happy how he turned out! (big thanks to FACEBOX for making me realise i should make this )

the armour is from an old predator 2 vinyl model kit i had spare, the mask is from the 1/6 scale mask set i got off ebay ages ago, various other parts include peices of leather. hot toys skulls, and an AvP elder body(a loose one i got awhile ago).

I kind of think Gort should have armor to match his helmet color, but what ev.

I dig the Gort and Samurai and I'm impressed with the Broken Tusk's chest armor - I've always wanted to see a Predator in full armor (like in the comics).

Some custom weapons for each one would put them over the top too!

yeah - when broken tusk is displayed i have him holding that whip i got with one of the customs i bought off you

was going to have the mask the same colour but in the film its actually a silver-ry colour (i know in the film it looks the same colour as his armour but if you look at the gort mask in real life it isnt )

You should paint Gort's body with the brown tiger stripes he has.

gort only has a few stripes on his thighs - was going to do them but didnt want to risk ruining him.

its one of the other lost hunters who has tiger stripes.


....which lost hunter should i make next??

they have gigantic heads.

digi cam batterys are dead and i cant find any good ones so you'll have to make do with a crappy phone pic

Their heads really are not that big, it's their necks. The body is sculpted with a neck, and then the head was sculpted with part of a neck as well. Then the masks were made too thick so they come off the face too far. There are ways to hide it, wish i had a digital camera laying around.

He has them on his ribs down along the sides of his abdominals as well methinks.

yeah i agree there - i had to cut a load off the neck from my 'gort' custom. (looked WAY to high before i cut the neck down!)

there not tiger stripes - there just his muscle lines from his chest muscles (6 pack) - well thats what they look like to me.
(if you look - all the lost hunters have them)
