Default hot toys alien predator snap kits, any good?

hey guys...

so im thinking about getting a set of the hot toys alien and predator snap kits, series 2, with the 12 inch alien queen...

do any of you have either series 2 or 1? if so, how is the quality? good sculpting or is it pretty crapola?

thanks

I was going to get the first and 2nd set but alot of people said the paint app's where REALLY bad so I passed. Also the Preds faces look pretty bad w/o there masks. If you want some cool mini preds and a Queen to build go with the Takara Micromen AVP set. Those are worth buying.

Stay away from the AvP snap kits. I had the phasing Predator and had a hell of a time keeping him posed. Limbs popped off easily, he was constantly falling over and generally couldn't hold a pose. I tried elmer's glue in the joints, but this didn't help.

The queen on the other hand kicks all kinds of ass. If you want figures of the alien, go with the second series of snap kits (from Aliens), or the Alien Microman figure. Likewise, you can't miss with the Predator Microman figures. Great poseability, lots of accessories, etc.

The back spine things on my Alien (grid) were coonfusing for me to put on because it seemed like it only came with 3 different designs, the entire top row and only one from the bottom row. as seen in my picture below.
