WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!! My free haul has arrived!!!

Well, as some of you might have seen in a previous post, my FREE haul has come in.

To try and explain, I get points from my work. I sell appliances. Manufacturers have what they call "spiffs". When you sell certain items, you get "x" amount of dollars from them. Well, GE and Whirlpool corporations also give you points. You can use these points in their catalogs to basically "buy" anything from lawn chairs to Plasma TVs, to trips, etc. ALL kinds of stuff.

Well, it took me four months, but I finally got enough Whirlpool points to score this:




I knew I was getting the controllers(one wired, one wireless), the headset, and system. What I didn't know was that they added MLB2K baseball AND the XBOX itself had a pack-in of Marvel Alliance and Forza Motorsports 2 !!!!

I was friggen psyched!!

On a related note, I also scored Gears of War and Call of Duty 4 from my GE points!!

All 5 games, the system, and free silver membership(which I assume is normal), for ZILCH!!

Well, technically I could have purchased a new chop saw or something for the house, but eh, you gotta treat yourself once in a while.

Just got done a 2 hour game session trying out Gears, COD4, and MLB. I am in awe of the graphics on COD4 and Gears!!!! Wow!

Wow how many people are going to try to one-dot this just because they don't have a 360 or didn't get their's for free? It was down to three, I made made it go to four and now it's back to three, not that it matters but still.

I have a free month's trial for Gold Membership. I tried to get online to play COD4, but it says I have to be a Lvl 4 Lieutenant??? What's that about??

Give me some of your gamertags so I can at least have SOME people on my guest list.

Also, about how long does 2 AA batteries last in the controller?? I know I should get a battery pack, but ya know.....go easy, I am a virgin.

Just get some rechargable batteries and a charger. I've got a set of 4, that way when the ones run out, I pop in the other two and charge the empty ones. What's cool about the 360 is when the batteries die, it'll automatically pause your game and tell you to put new ones in.

I have do the same as Mick, I have my back ups in the charger at all time, lol.. that or get the plug and play... but then you're wired to the box, lol..

In order to creat some matches you need to have been ranked up. Just find some player match games to rank up. The types of matches unlock pretty quick there after.
