Default Moderately humorous story about collecting.
I was talking to two people last night who I had just met and, for some reason, action figures were mentioned and I said I collect them. Then simultaneously, they both say "I bet I've got more." One guy claims to have all the Justice League figures and the other claims to have a bunch of Ninja Turtles.

Well, luckily, there was a computer near by, so I pulled up photobucket and showed them some pictures of my roughly 2000 figures and statues. Needless to say, their reactions were priceless. One said, "Man, guess I talked **** to the wrong guy."

Small victory I guess--I out nerded the nerds.

lol. awesome strory. FYI, i have told many people about your collection (that you own 200 statues and more than 1500 figures) and basically you can buy a car with the money you spent on this plastic.

guess what, all of my buddies just drop their jaw and cant believe it. you have a helluva collection my friend. keep it up : )

I'm flattered to have had an impact that makes other people talk about my collection. Your statue number is a little high though--it's closer to 100-150 (I think), and that includes busts. I don't want to mislead. I should count though, maybe this weekend.
