Arrow Official Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex Thread!!

Yeah, so I finally got around to making one. I mean, if these other areas can have one, why can't one of the more heavily board-populated areas have one?

My goal is that this can become anything from a local flea market to a chatroom to a sightings thread to a gathering-planning thread.. Can this work? Yes, if you want it to.

So from west of Ft. Worth to east of Dallas, and all the way up here to my thriving metropolis of Denton, let's post away!

Only 1 rule, though: LEAVE YOUR POLITICS AND SHOES AT THE DOOR.

Anyways, allow me to introduce myself. My name, as I suspect you already know, is Bryan. I'm about to start my 4th year at the University of North Texas and I'm majoring in Marketing. And be warned: I'm very proud of my school and I let it show. I also work at the TRU in Lewisville, so I can chime in on sightings/SKNs and whatnot, but I'm not going to raid the back or rape cases for you. If I can't do it, I'm not doing it for others. However, if you want me to hold a video game for you when it comes in, I'll be happy to. Double standard? Maybe, but ask me if I care.

Anyways, I hope to meet more of you on here, since it seems that our numbers have blossomed recently. And with all the new faces since last fall, we really need another Gathering!

I guess I'm the first one to post on the "official" DFW thread. About myself, My name is Steven, I'm about to start my 2nd year of college at Texas A&M Commerce, and I live in Rowlett. I work at a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market (no sportpicks). And you can tell by my signature and my sign-on that I love Led Zeppelin and the White Stripes. That's pretty much the basics about me. Let's hear from some more DFW people!

Guess you all recognize me too. I'm the other one (besides dharrismavs) who gets out and about hitting all your stores across DFW!

Probably one of the older guys around here (36) and have been involved in this hobby since the SLU days - over 10 years. From the Midwest originally so my favorite teams aren't in Dallas but I still follow the local teams anyways.

bryan316, good idea to have our own thread; I was getting really jealous of the Houston thread.

Hey all,

I think I am the senior raking SP freak of the group. Checking in at age 44, living in Carrollton. And yes, a card carrying member of the Steve Moore fan club. I have attending four of our get togethers so far and even though Mike showed up. I still had a lot of fun.

Do we need to put the next person to get the party started to a vote? We are long over due.

Any one need any NFL 8's?

Current extras laying around pissing off the wife are:

Mcnair
Lewis
Green
Holt

Proud member of the Steve Moore Fan Club.

LaLone, I'm glad to know at 42 I'm not the senior member of this motley crew.

College football season is upon us; perhaps a field trip to Frogman's alma mater?

anyone else hearing that the mavs are getting dampier? EDIT: guess so.
